My god no one here knows this is a TAS, tool assisted speedrun, he can use savestates to manipulate the random peices and get what he wants every time, it's not meant to show skill, it's meant to push the game to its limits, to see what a perfect run would look like without human error or luck involvement.

Yeah, it's obviously tool assisted. He's viewing the pieces at least about 3 to 5 in advance, and manipulating the random spawns by his rotations.

It's a tool-assisted run. Meaning he can rewind/play slow-mo/etc., and anyone with the know-how can use these to trick the game into giving the wanted pieces. So basically, he's just manipulating the game to give him what he wants, and playing in slow-motion to get unhuman reflexes, in order to achieve max score as fast as the game could possibly allow.

tl;dr: This is not skill, it's someone using cheats, etc to play the game as fast as the game can handle.

The Nintendo version of tetris gave you more line pieces if you moved the other pieces more. Flipping them, or moving them to extremes gave you more line pieces.

@Klepatar Tool assistance is not a 'hax'. It's making the most out of the game. The Player get's the pieces he wants, because he knows how to produce them. Those games don't have any means of a real Random Number generator. They are produced by computing many game variables. By optimizing these through movement, speed, etc. he's able to produce the wanted piece.
