when you go around a corner at 40 mph in your car with coffee youd better be careful so tell me please how come if the earth is "rotating" we are not all flying in to space right now?
The Earth's gravity is more than strong anought to keep everything from flying out into space. This with a few minor forces makes to where we are nowhere near able to feel the Earth's rotation.
The Earth is also orbiting the Sun at more than 68,000 miles per hour at about 93 million miles from the sun.
The days and nights are because our side of the Earths faces towards and turns away from the sun.
