I have the TT roadster and while its not as hot looking or as expensive the electric roof means i can use it more readily, eg i dont have to check a weather forecast every time i go out and the 4 wheel drive is good for our shitty weather ;0)

anyway this car is a real looker and looks like itd be fun to drive. but theyre asking for damn near 70k! you can get a corvette or viper for that much and run circles around this performance wise.

I just dont get the euro stuff. great looking and great engineering but your money does not go far at all.

All that radio, A/C, hood missing just to cut out some weight. Boxster is light enough they should've put in a stronger engine, instead of being afraid of crossing the 911. Besides, Cayman still performs better than Spyder. Which leaves me wondering what Porsche achieved with this.

From what I have seen this car was meant for balance. It does not need a more powerful engine. This car already does 72 mph on a slalom and gets good track numbers.

They can keep the smaller engine and throw in a simple supercharger(something like +35lb torque) that'll boost the whole performance overall. Again just my wishful thinking happy thoughts hahaha

Why would you buy this car when the base model has 98% of the capability of the spyder, has air-con, a radio, is $8,000 less and has a roof that doesn't require you to get an engineering degree to operate it? Porsche has a long history of pointless options. I have base, which I use as a daily driver, it is the best value by far.

I seriously hate those metal roll over bars that are behind the seat .. I mean come on, it is Porsche ...... BMW, Audi, Mercedes, and Saab have the pop up roll over bars which are a lot more safer and they go up higher ... The roll over bars on this Porsche are very low and most likely the driver ( and possibly passenger ) could be decapitated in a roll over ... Very unsafe.
