it's way easier to have energy on stage if the crowd isn't just standing around through the whole song. When you listen to the studio recoding instead of the live version of the song it is much easier to judge if a band is good or not- especially if the band is metal (which takes a high level of skill to play). This is one of the most intense songs i've ever heard... back off slipknot (BTA is 100% Christian, and they still rock harder than slipknot)

Alright, lets get some things straightened out.

1st. Becoming the Archetype is a Christian band. Take some time to read their lyrics. And, by the way, their name is based off of Gen 1:26.

2nd. They did a word for word cover of "How Great Thou Art" . Last time I checked one who worships satan cannot sing about how great Jesus is.

3rd. I know the drummer on their last album. He is definitely a Christian.

Next time listen to more than one live track before you judge a band.

I've not read all the comments about this argument over screamo dying, but metal will not die. Also I love Demon Hunter and Archetype, why can't you guys? Listen to his growl at 0:46 and tell me with a straight face and with complete honesty that this band sucks. Archetype is an incredibly talented group, the only thing Demon Hunter has that Archetype doesn't is clean vocals and I think it's well made up for.
