Sorry for the people who actually like the song, but this sounds like an Abba demo!. It has potential, but, as it is, definitivelly not for a single release.
yes, definitely very "Super Trouper"-y, but still awesome !!! Wish they would put this on a greatest hits cd at least, but it's always just the B-side "Heartbreaker" (which is great too though) ... wonder why that is
First they copied ABBA with Angelo, a blatant re-giggling around of ABBA's Fernando, now this flop, a blatant copy of Super Trouper. Thankfully by the time this dross was released, people realised what this mob whhere all about - COPYING.
I used to like Brotherhood of Man - I still do! But listening back now it is obvious they had little talent and modelled all their material on Abba but could only come up with a poor man's formula - . Come on, this is a complete pastiche of Abba's great great "Super Trouper". But it IS pleasant to listen to.
Oh....My.....This is so bad of a rip off of Super Trouper/Under Attack that its not even funny. Its amazing that these people actually made something of themselves from coping ABBA. Brotherhood of Man copied ABBA, because they knew that they could not be very successful on their own, so they ripped off ABBA. And even look at the album sleeve.....gee......it looks familiar, doesn't it??? *cough cough* ABBA. I call these guys "Dollar store ABBA" if you know what I mean......
A great song!! Don't remrember this at all either!! Very Super Trouper gone tech!!! Great though..they were great singers, looked great, catchy songs ..yeah...they deserved more recognition reallly!!
This sounds exactly like ABBA - i remember hearing it a couple times when i was a kid but when i tried to buy it none of our record stores had it. This song is awesome!!!
Love this song, we had the 7" single at home. Reckon they were trying to make a comeback because of Bucks Fizz being big but failed. Hope they release this album on CD too!
This is a terrific song - I love it more than any other Brotherhood of Man songs. Being from the U.S.A., I had never heard it before. Thanks for posting!

This is my new favourite BOM song despite it being t being a blatant ABBA rip off! Love the cheesy 80's synths. x

comparisons to ABBA are a bit unfair, they were artists in their own right,

This song was never even played nor promoted in the U.S.A. It's a shame because it could have been a big hit here.

@Cyberschizoid Except that ABBA were 1,000,000 times less cheesy.

I wonder how many people consider "Lightning Flash" as their favorite song by Brotherhood of Man. It is my favorite.

Finally found it, I love this song, beautiful vocal harmonies, the girls' voices mix incredibly well, good writing, will listen to it for days.

This is their best song ever - they were often accused of being Abba copycats - this one is as good as most Abba songs.

Bravo pour cette chanson que nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion d'entendre en France dans les années 80 .... le style est réussi

Terrific track, and sounding very much like my all time favourite group, mentioning no names! Should have been a bigger hit though.
