  • @grasscutter88 Who takes baths? LOL

  • @grasscutter88 Maybe you should stop farting in your bath water.

  • it is not that bad weather.

  • sobering.I thought tankers had a good ride.

  • Lame, nothing happened, WTF???

    Fuck this.

  • How does one get a job aboard an oil tanker? Are there any entry level jobs that don't require any specific qualifications? Thanks.

  • @malthus101 at first u should have some general knowledge...... so u cant be selected...!!!

  • and enguard is a threating response to a swordsman which i am

  • i understand completely you moron but this video was took from a phone and all i said was it was feking boring cause you didnt even see any water splashing up now get back to your book

  • the ship hardly moved thats two minutes im not getting back

  • Chuck Norris must have been swimming that day.

  • Been there, done that. 10 years sailing in the US merchant Marines. On the ULCC's, (The REALLY, REALLY REALLY big tankers, you could see the ship flex.

  • Автор пидарас

  • Thats why I listin to 1010 wins, if the weather isint right I aint leaving port till its glass and blue skies!

  • thats just ugly to look at...

  • how many crew?

  • Oh, our colleagues from the tankers are so easily to scare...

  • LOL yes mate, just 10, 15 deg

  • When you consider how many tons that thing weighs, and how fast it's pitching side to side, that would be pretty scary!

  • where is the violent?

  • The video was taken with low quality unit. You can notice tilting left to right, one of the reason could be has no load.

  • I highly doubt they'd be going anywhere without a load!

  • hahahaha

  • EPIC LOL. would have to agree with you there, i sailed through a cyclone off east coast aus and did a rough stint in the southern ocean 30 degree rolls were average, my first sea month. good times.

  • oh!

    thanx for the answer!!

i almost forgot that point of view!~!~

  • is it computer generated effect or real?

  • what happens here?

    hear about the gay whale?

bit the end off a submarine and swallowed all the seamen.

  • no, your are wrong and that wasnt funny....srry normally i would let ignorant people stay ignorant but this comment was just stupid........

  • Narrow minded perverted fuck

  • the boat is actually made out of jelly

  • Comment removed

  • sounds like someone forgot to secure for sea!

  • Where is the violent movement?

  • That ship is at least a football field and a half long....several thousand tons of oil sloshing around inside...think about the stress that has to put on the framework of the ship...

  • i think the designer might have considered that one for you

  • neh yes it must be a giganatic force on the framework neh

  • Keyboard Warriors are banned from Youtube...

...so keep yer Mothers 'framework' outta this.

  • here here

  • Except for dicks, then rigidity is the name of the game.

  • Lol.

  • we'll meet ya on the high seas...

  • haha...violent movement!!!

  • that looks a lot like the british loyalty or british fidelity. both BP tankers. built in Busan Korea by Hyundai

  • no one cares

  • youre a dick. and no one cares :D

  • thats bad, lots of people should know your a dick

  • I didn't know they let you out of your lunatic asylum!!!!!

  • I've always wanted to drive an oil tanker.

  • ive always wanted to correct someone that you sail a ship not drive it

  • Whatever, smart arse!

  • what are you? 9? to scared to swear CORRECTLY on the net?

  • I have to admit. I laughed so so hard after I read your comment. It was a long time ago since I laughed so hard!

  • me too. lol omg wtf bbq

  • same with you, fucked up sence of humor

  • you have one fucked up sence of humor then dont you?

  • they mean the same thing you dumb one

  • Been there and seen that. It is amazing when the shp hits the wave or vise versa the whole ship just shudders and wobbles from stem to stern. Great Stuff. Thanks for the memories. SS Connecticut 1978 United States Merchant Marine.

  • I have Loaded crude oil in 20 m waves, that was sick. Seas came rolling in from both sides while topping up the tanks.

  • It was offshore loading, and I have stopped doing that

  • say nothing! he didnt ask for your replies

  • You know what lonely sailors say... A ship in the night is better than a tug in the morning! Lmao

  • Fuck off shit stain

  • we have a rule on my ship, you dont do anything that cant be easily explained when something goes wrong... and it will go wrong. thats just plain stupid.

  • To the video poster - what is the name of this ship as I have a feelin I have sailer on her?!

  • And I was commenting on your error of judgement. There was no need to be sarcastic - 'and your point is...?' You didn't realise that this vessel wasn't carrying oil in the first place.

  • were passing atlantic rightnow bound to gibraltar, spain loaded with naptha from venezuela, the wind force is 20 against us with white caps, and we are stable bcoz we are loaded! unlike this tin can which is on ballast...

  • the tank is empty mate.

  • and your point is...?

    *rolls eyes*

  • so its not carrying oil (the fucking tank is empty)

    *blinks confusingly*

  • youre a muppet

  • hmm and you're not a Merchant Navy Engineer anymore. Hence the prefix 'ex'. Was it honourable discharge?

  • *yawns*

    Bet youre an American.

  • You bet me what now? Because as far as I know you don't have to be American to speak English. Wait let me guess, you're english, right? Because you haven't a job now.

  • Im so bored with this convo already. yes i have a job, I was commenting based on the ~way~ you were using language.

And on this ridiculous note, I'm gonna stop typing and ignore you now. So go waste your time posting "humerous" comments on some other thread.

  • jeez, its rolling around like a punt!

  • thats not carying oil.

  • I beg to differ, as an ex Merchant Navy Engineer, looking at tthat deck design, its just a small/medium sized refined fuel carrier or Product Tanker, depending on how you look at it. The deck looks more cluttered than it actually is, a lot of the longitudinal lines are reinforcement girders, and the lack of deck machinery room mid way means this is not an early LNG design either.

  • Also, Crude Oil tends to be dispersed in larger pipes as they retain the heat more efficiently (crude needs to be heated quite high in order for it to be pumped). Higher grade fuels are easier to transport/pump and dont need piping of such large diamater.

  • listen any chance of a job ex seaman wanting to return

  • I think I saw a whale with a straw out waiting for the spill.

  • Let me see now, "travelguy78" and "globaloiltrader"...

From where does naphtha and gasoline come from? What exactly is the origin of all petroleum products?

    Daaah...

  • I would have to agree with Travelguy. This is not an oil tanker. By looking at all piping on the deck, it's a dead giveaway that this ship is carrying petroleum products like gasoline or naphtha.

  • anybody know how big the captains room is? can he have a 40inch plasma in there? and what about the 1st mate?

  • sumedhacharekar -is this a vessel of tomasos company from greece? I was working on one of them

  • hmm smal waves ... next year im working on a suply ship :P

  • Oil? This seems more like a product carrier for gasoline-products than an oil tanker.

  • Load of crap pal! Do you think we are thick?

  • Good thing the front didn't fall off.

  • That makes me seasick!

  • Posto Eolico para abastecer tambem os Carros do Futuro

  • Lot of bending moment on the hulls of long ships like that in hi swells.

  • I already feel sick

  • i've done up and down in biscay bay for 11 months with a chemical tankers, 10 000 in DWT.Can you imagine what means winter time in that fuckin' waters? I wanna forget it...

  • No. They don't.

In comparison to the relative boats sure but these waves are MUCH MUCH bigger than those.. but the boats are bigger too.

  • i'd sailed on supertankers.gigantic waves are just nothing when these VLCC are loaded but it will roll too much when they are sailing on ballast.my last ship was the smallest it was just under 5000 tons GRT and we sailed the PACIPIC OCEAN with just a meter of draft.....most of the times battling those tropical storm......and it was raelly Scary coz it was built in 1957!hopefully i've done my contract with her.

  • hopefully?

  • i should have used fortunately instead....my bad...not reviewing what i've written lol

  • hahah

don't worry...happens to the best of us.

my eyes just kinda popped open when i read....hopefully...thats all

  • omg its a boat in the water its moves like a boat so its not a big deal a big deal is if its about to capsize

  • This is a fully loaded VLCC of about 200.000 dwt.

Such big vessels do have several visible waves running fore-to-aft in heavy seas. But this film is a blatant exageration!! Congratulations on a lovely sailors tale!! I spent several years in tankers, believe me, it`s a deckside leg-pull!!

  • jeez, its rolling around like a punt!

  • I like all the people saying "it looks fine to me" like they regularly travel by oil tanker! Come on the size and wight of that thing and it is swaying like its in a damn dance club!

  • its alright

  • looks fine to me

  • whoah. that's some scary noises it's making,

  • ignore the wankers mate, why dont you ask yourselves "why would anyone make a fake vid of this?"answer they wouldent so (what.....its in the cuppboard next to the peas) move on

  • check m/t britanis

  • all those goddam morons doubting the violent movement of the tanker see it keeping the hoeizon fixed......you will then realise the angle and speed at which the ship is rolling and also the pitching....get a hold of some basic physics sense u know nothings......

  • Forget the fucktard "experts" who replied. They would be crying on the couch puking into the waste bin wondering WHEN the ship will break in half swearing they would never go to sea again.

  • does this regulerly happen on oil tankers?

  • That's A LOT of boat moving and twisting around.

  • You mean since?

  • the average idiot on youtube that looks at something of this nature has a mentality that is thinking about a wind surfer and catching air.. They have no idea the difference in size and also that it's hauling a liquid which sways and is very dangerious.

  • the old ones do but new ones dont

  • Depending on what "TYPE" of Oil tanker. There are more then just ONE type.

  • ...You can see the splash when it rolls fucktard

  • Hi sumeddhacharekar, this is not an oil tanker but is a chemical tanker.

  • u r rite dude ..its a product tanker which is chemical class.....but we only carry oil products and no chemicals....

  • 'one must feel powerful while driving in a tanker'...LOL!!!!!!! ;-D

  • Is that wriggling movement in the ship for real or just an illusion caused by the spray on the windows?

  • iy's because of the rain drups on the glass

  • Yeah, bet you had a huge erection

  • lmao so random

  • Nice view. One must feel powerful while traveling in a tanker.
