This is a GREAT Song For You!!!

I think your singing this in the wrong key for your voice. Try taking the CAPO off and tune the guitar LOWER by at 1/2 step ... maybe even by a Whole Step. The guitar will sound much more haunting and your lucky because your voice has the ability to shape notes in the lower part of its register.

Don't just sing a song in a key because you can hit all the high notes. Lower the tuning and the key and make your voice Work to sing the low notes.
