@smartpegs i watched an interview with him, he said the album was wrote about is first love, and letting it go. this song was probably wrote with memories in mind. its more the feeling the song conveys then it is about how literal the lyrics are.

For those of you who thinks this sounds great, you represent the demographic of fans you appreciate the artist, not the sound he produces.

For those that don't, well either you noticed the heavy overdrive coming from micing the bass drum or possible even the bass guitar, OR you don't like it because it is not the acoustic ballad version.

This is a great example of my claims though.

He is so creative, yet his recordings are so mundane compared to his live abilities.
