Consent search my ass. Legally even minors are protected under the Constitution and it violates their 4th Amendment rights. A parent or guardian cannot waive the rights of the minor. Courts have ruled this to be the case over and over. Cops have tried to end run the Constitution by getting consent from a parent and judges have said nope. A parent can't control their kids, they don't deserve to be a parent and should be culpable for a child's actions.

There are little tricks like never saying "I understand" as it technically tells the officer or judge that you accept "standing under" acts and statutes. There are Freeman movement vids about it. I sure as hell don't trust the police. I find it funny that there's such a double standard between police and citizens. If I get arrested for a violent crime I stand in-front of a judge. If an officer is video taped by a citizen committing a violent crime he/she is first investigated by their department. As far as I know, officers will almost never remind you that by the fourth amendment you have the right to deny an unreasonible search. Most of the time they say "Hi Im officer Bob I'm hear to search your house." and will proceed until they are told by the house owner they do not consent to any searches.

But we will always have the constitution and the bill of rights. So use them! Protect yourself from false charges and getting into trouble. I was surrounded by police a dozen or more, i had just pulled in to a public parking lot, completely legal. I was blinded with lights , screamed at,cussed, told to get out , get on the f 'ing ground. I was searched my car was searched. All of this because my car resembled a car they were looking for. By the way the car they were looking for was drivin by a 16 yr. old kid whose only crime was shooting a parked police car with a paint ball gun.

@elfspirit There ARE tons of acts and statutes, but apparently if you know what you're doing you can have courts recognize your right to live under common law. There are little tricks like never saying "I understand" as it technically tells the officer or judge that you accept "standing under" acts and statutes. There are Freeman movement vids about it. I'm still trying to figure out if they're for real.

I sure as hell don't trust the police. I find it funny that there's such a double standard between police and citizens. If I get arrested for a violent crime I stand in-front of a judge. If an officer is video taped by a citizen committing a violent crime he/she is first investigated by their department. If he/she is deemed to have broken the law then and then only do they stand in-front of a judge.
We must change this policy if we want true peace officers.

As far as I know, officers will almost never remind you that by the fourth amendment you have the right to deny an unreasonible search. Most of the time they say "Hi Im officer Bob I'm hear to search your house." and will proceed until they are told by the house owner they do not consent to any searches.
