Even if religions were willing and able to take care of people on their own, they aren't and they don't. Many receive funding from government. In any event, no one should have to go begging, or be forced to listen to sermons and/or convert to a religion, when they're down on their luck. Hungry people need food, not bibles. Homeless people need shelter, not bibles.
@YY4Me133 I remember going to a 'union gospel' soup kitchen where you had to show up 45 minutes early to sit through a sermon or no food. If you showed up partway into the sermon (late) - no food. I never forgave that. Hungry people being turned away for refusal to sit through a sermon or for the crime of being a few minutes late. The soup kitchen in my town, while run by volunteer christians (mostly) does not preach and no one gets turned away. I have respect for that.

@StarApostle I'm pretty sure that if anyone ever proved anything in the bible everyone would know it by now, and you would not have so many different religions or sects of the same religion, someone could really say "what I believe is the truth" and everybody could agree. Since that is what happens if something is burned by fire it usually no longer exists. there is only one author of revelation, God sent message to John via an angel. Only one writer. They did not consider time circular.

Even if religions were willing and able to take care of people on their own, they aren't and they don't. Many receive funding from government. In any event, no one should have to go begging, or be forced to listen to sermons and/or convert to a religion, when they're down on their luck. Hungry people need food, not bibles. @YY4Me133 I remember going to a 'union gospel' soup kitchen where you had to show up 45 minutes early to sit through a sermon or no food. If you showed up partway into the sermon (late) - no food. I never forgave that. Hungry people being turned away for refusal to sit through a sermon or for the crime of being a few minutes late. The soup kitchen in my town, while run by volunteer christians (mostly) does not preach and no one gets turned away. I have respect for that.

@StarApostle I'm pretty sure that if anyone ever proved anything in the bible everyone would know it by now, and you would not have so many different religions or sects of the same religion, someone could really say "what I believe is the truth" and everybody could agree. The problem is that it doesn't happen, because either there's no evidence for anything in the bible, or the evidences point to the complete opposite or point to delusions.

"knowing where to start" As I said before many scientists "knew" where to start and started with religions, and they either completely lost themselves in non-sensical explanations backed by absolutely no facts, or they didn't anything that could back up any claims you make. What you've yet to ask is how to get the verified interpretation? You've failed to see Gods ability to bypass plagiarism with parables. Does it matter if the parable is stolen if it is still what God is like? In context the parables where told and not explain to the people, because it's our clue

I was gonna prove to you that the bible is right, but I'd rather not take the $10,000 and sign over what I know to you. I've seen a few of your videos and I agree with you every time except this one. For one thing, you don't take into account language when you assume that our words are the same translation of their words.
