@6arcsn1sky on the other hand, the last sentai with a sinilar format,except that a black ranger is present instead of a green(at least in its core team due to its green ranger serving as the 6th ranger) is in zyuranger. subsequent seasons has a similar lineup except that the yellow ranger is female are megaranger, boukenger and goseiger..

I really wish Disney had followed Magiranger's lead and made Mystic Force about a family of magical superheroes. Instead, we got the same cliche teenage stereotype BS with a horrid rap theme. At least Shinkenger will never be butchered.

RPM is basically out of disney hands. and the writers has been given freedom to write this series as they like, and bang, RPM came out.

Actually - Sentai translates out to "Squadron" or "Task Force", therefore "Magical Squadron/Task Force - Magiranger". Still sounds redundant in English but in Japanese "Magiranger" is the name of the team and "Mahou Sentai" describes what the team is (a magical squadron/task force).

Ex - Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger - "Dekaranger" is the name of the team, "Tokusou Sentai" describes them as a Special Investigation Squadron.

The Japanese version came first. That's how Power Rangers started. The US takes the Super Sentai series from Japan and uses that as a basis for the Power Rangers series.

I don't know whether any one of you figure that out, including Magi Green(Yuki Ito), Gao Blue(Takeru Shibaki), Deka Pink(Mika Kikuchi) and Bouken Pink (Haruka Suenaga), all four them also played in the movie Battle Royale II: Requiem. I just figured that out recently. Also Hongo Takeshi in Kamen Rider The First and The Next (Masaya Kikawada) was also in this movie. I found that this is really interesting and none of them survive in this movie...
