  • I know that the already great sounding transistorized theater organs sound so much better when playing through a good tube amp &/or Leslie, but I wonder if it would thicken and warm a virtual organ. Anyone have any examples. Also I bet a couple of Allen Gyrophonics would help out too. I mean what is it with people being totally old school or totally new school? In 1,000 organ uploads to my playlists I've yet to see anyone with a Leslie or even a tube amp and vintage speakers on a virtual organ.

  • Great video,

    David is a great organist.

I've got j-organ with Bruce Miles 3 manual Wurlitzer console and soundfont (going through fluid-synth) I which play via my Yamaha EL7 organ's midi out.

  • Hi Ben, thanks for your comment. Have you tried the "Christie" 3 manual disposition I have created for jOrgan using Bruce Miles' Compton soundfont for Fluidsynth?

  • search VTPO Downunder

  • This is the default Miditzer 260SP with Bruce Miles Soundfont.

  • Thanks for your comment Organgrinder. The whole afternoon was a feast of good organ music played on a very impressive instrument. It just shows how computers can add to our enjoyment of even old fashioned pleasures.

  • I really love this, both for the wonderful music and the ingenuity. 5 stars.
