War is forbidden to the saints (Revelation 13: 9-10). In this the saints are known to be saints. There is no Samson killing 1000 men. or Gideon in the New Testament, not one war leader, because Jesus was the Prince of Peace. He came to Earth to give us this example, and now as God exercises a different power.

Dang the message in this is pretty powerful. I can understand why some people may not like this though. They are not really making war, because their beliefs and desires are on the same side of the fight. Also like all people, I have pondered and pondered on the thought of eternity, the past, if I exsisted or just spontaneously happened into exsistence. Why do I even exsist? What am I in a non-physical sense? I have a conscience and I can influence with words and actions. Everything I do causes a change in someone else, as well as myself, and vice versa. The thought of Heaven and hell. Eternity...

No one truly and honestly deserves to be in Heaven. No one in their character, speech, and thought, are anywhere near Godly. Observing the size and vastness and perfection of the Universe led me to believe that if God Exsists, then what in the WORLD can I DO? These thoughts started attacking me...

That is the amazing story of Christ Jesus, Read John 1 to see the glory of the dead and raised Christ. This is the only God worth living for, Christianity is the only path that works. God's Grace and the death of his son gets us sinners into heaven. Only out of love an unmerritted favor do you get this option, and it is a one time thing.

@jeffkeeper01 I think it is because suicide bombers are kind of brain washed and their desires (after life as own god with many virgins) are aligned with their actions and convictions. They are not really making war, because their beliefs and desires are on the same side of the fight. (this can be argued, but it seems if they believe if they suicide bomb then they are granted a desired after life, then that is easy.) Make war against your human desires everyday until you die, that is hard.

@chripork it's much too extreme a lyric though. if you truely want to live a virtuous life, you have to abandon violence and judgment against others, and only apply to your own internal sins. suicide bombers destroy the potentialities of other individuals to live virtuous lives. it's a fine but important line: judge not lest ye be judged
