Before borrowing money they don't have, they should consider a cheaper school or a trade center. They should consider working and saving up for tuition. In hindsight, they should have worked hard in school to win a scholarship. But taking on $100,000 education or buying a $200,000+ home is an individual's own risky decision. Society shouldn't pay for their luxury.

Have you seen what elementary and high school tests were like in the 1930s or even 1890s? In the 1890s 4th -5th grade was about the equivalent of 12th grade now. I earned myself a scholarship, and when that ran out, I worked 3 jobs at a time to pay my way through school. Most students would see it really isn't all that pricey if you cut out all the stuff you don't need: like iphones, new music, designer clothes, cable tv, concert tix, alcohol... Before borrowing money they don't have, they should consider a cheaper school or a trade center. They should consider working and saving up for tuition. In hindsight, they should have worked hard in school to win a scholarship. But taking on $100,000 education or buying a $200,000+ home is an individual's own risky decision. Society shouldn't pay for their luxury.

If a man is standing there in uniform and saying he disagrees with the wars we are currently in then I have to ask why he volunteered. We don't have a draft (currently) so why would one willingly join, not just the military but ANY organization/group/club- whatever if he or she disagrees with the premise? I have no sympathy for someone who claims they are against something and then joins WITH that something. Either these guys are plants or they're just plain disingenuous. I'm not buyin'.

What needs to happen is all these protesters need to go to their legislators and bagger them as to why they keep bailing out the banks and other businesses. The size an longevity of this protest speaks far louder than all the letters to corrupt politicons ever will. writing a letter: 30 mins. #occupywallstreet.: 43 000 minutes and counting.
