do you have a INSTRUMENTAL of Shermon Oaks or did you get rid of it? I found it on beemp3 a long time ago and I really liked it. but I stupidly deleted it. and so I tried to look for it again and I just can't find it.
@Junker281 - That instrumental version of Sherman Oaks is what Steve Anderson and I recorded on my VistaFire 4-track tape-cassette recorder. It was our ideas we recorded before we went into the studio to record the whole song. I removed all my 4-track music from my website; I don't have easy access to that old 4-track music anymore; My hard drive crashed that it was on. So I would have to go through boxes I have stored to find that music.
Continued: If I did not put that music on a CD; Then I would have to get it off of a tape cassette I saved; But I sold my tape cassette player to a friend a month ago. But I saved my old website on a CD so I know it is on there. But it is stored in boxes under my steps.
@JamesLimborg - I found the cd of my old website and found that instrumental you like of Sherman Oaks. I need your email address to send you the file. You can give that to me by sending me a private message on YouTube or by emailing me through my website. If I don't send you the mp3 right away, then I probably didn't get your email; My server blocks emails from people who are NOT in my friends list. I would need to add your email address to my friends list.
@Melissa11rocks - Thanks Melissa. My friend Steve Laws Anderson wrote the guitar part at his house and then sent me a tape cassette of his guitar three guitar chord ideas for the verse, bridge, chorus sections. Then I created drums with my drum machine, rock and acoustic guitar melodies, lyrics, bass guitar and recorded everything on my bands 16-track reel-to-reel back in 1993. Years later I added the telephone ringing; I had my brother call my house and I recorded the phone ringing.
