Now I am divoted to having a full OBE because I can never get past the intense vibrations. But I have always gotten half way out of my body so that waz enough to convince me it was real. anyway does anybody have any advice on how to get past the vibations? Its so scary I always end up swimming back into my body

James, set your alarm for about 4 am stay awake for about an hour. Go back to sleep, try to clear your mind and let random images enter your mind. Often times you will see colors with a swirling effect I happpn to see greens and blues. Remember to stay concious. The next step is an intense vibration, sometimes it feels uncomfortable which causes people to snap back. Dont get discouraged keep trying. Eventually you should feel a floating sensation and presto it happens. Just keep practicing

I experience a lot of vibrations, feel often buzzing and voices/strange sounds. I even hear radio stations in my head, just before falling asleep. I have experienced obe just some weeks ago, but it was spontaneous, during sleep - it was strange to wake up and feel my hands passing trough material objects. Unfortunately I always fall asleep after feeling vibs/buzzing. I have also oracular dreams. Unfortunately I dont control it
experienced an O.B.when i was a kid in a dental chair didnt understand what was happening or where i was . Years later reading about astral travel i managed to induce an OBE .Like a roaring noise on leaving the body then floating round the room started to panic and up back in the physical. its interesting how everyone has different experiences during astral traveling. i had an obe the other day and found i was surrounded by spirits. one of them showed me how he sees the world. it was like a black void, with jus a few of the spirits lit up, he couldn't see all of them. i asked all the spirits around me is this why no one returns to the heavens above and jus reincarnates. how can they navigate the universe if they can't see it. the universe is a physical place.

@jokersgirl4ever idk it jus happens to me. most of the ppl i have chatted to say it jus happened to them. its like lucid dreaming. some do it often some only once or a few times in a lifetime. some don't have any dream recall.. some slip into dream consciousness while they astral travel, some r logical minded.. from my research its as varied as life experiences.. i'm sure if ppl knew how to invoke it on everyone it would be studied more as a science.. tho most ppl say they love it so good luck

just thought i share an experience with everybody ok around september 2009 i had recently came back from el salvador and i had a dog named chucha right and like a week after she had this big ball by her stomach and to sum it up she made it passed the night but passed away around 6 to 7 am and i didnt get no sleep until 9 or 11 and im sure it was painfull bekause she cried but to sum it up 1 last time when i fell asleep i literally felt light as if i came out my body and i walked to the kitchen
Why is it that before i float around my body? I can feel a dark evil presence.. almolst a dark energy matter lurking in the midst of the back of my mind.. it feels very horrible though.. nothing pleasant.. is that a process of OBE?

@Wrath6909 yes, a simple exersize before you astral will help a lot, you need to picture the point under your sternum getting energy, and the energy surrounding you with white light.

the way i do it is by internally chanting a two syllable mantra internally and in syc with my breath bringing my breath to an almost halt. then all my body vibrates and a trumpet like sound is heard accompanied by a very blissful feeling. Then i start heading towards the ceiling and off to wander. First i was scared and awed by the experience, then gradually i got used to the feeling . Its truly an amazing experience.

i did it unconsciously last night, the weird thing is that i saw a mix of races, i mean a saw a an asian, american, and african people, and almost all of them are sleeping..i realized that i was astral projecting when i saw a weird thing, i got two zippers on my pants and i said to myself "wtf? am i dreaming or what? oh crap!" when i try to do something, all of them are looking at me, like in the movie "Deception".. such an amazing experience..
I get it so...People who go to hell in essence are going to a lower realm filled with devilish types of people whereas those who are always happy go to a place that is always great and fun. So just because you sin, it doesnt mean that you are going to hell. I could well still be a place that is good. Right or wrong.
You don't need to worry. The existence of a soul or spiritual body does not mean that there is a god. As William says, people are creating their own realities on the astral plans, but if they strongly believe in heaven for instance they are actually limiting their spiritual potential by creating a limited form-based environment.
The perspective of William of many other people is basically that we ourselves are gods in a certain way.

Well, there are many theories that can explain how souls come into existence without being created. One of the simplest arguments that come to my mind right now is this: If god was not created by anyone/anything and was "just there", why should the same not be true for souls? Christians have been trying so hard to promote their idea of an almighty divine being that this image has stuck to a lot of people's minds, and it tends to make them blind to other ideas.
Also, if the first organic substances came into existence through a chain of random events and developed into life via evolution over an incredibly long period of time, why could the same not be true for spiritual bodies? Consciousness might have slowly evolved or it might have been there since the beginning of the universe, or maybe even before that.
In the end we cannot be completely sure unless we manage to experience the spiritual world for ourselves, through OBE's or other methods. In any case, I can pretty much assure you that even if a single god existed he would not be so malicious to punish you for thinking for yourself and trying to find your truth instead of parroting what some religious extremists are threatening you with.
I think the old wisdom also applies to the spiritual: There is nothing to fear but fear itself.

Actually there is no need for a higher intelligence other than ourselves. There is no evidence that would point to us being created. Our consciousness might have evolved, just like our physical bodies.
By the way, a higher intelligence does not solve the problem of creation, if you actually view that as a problem. Who or what has created the higher intelligence? Was it always there? Has it evolved? The answer to the last two questions can just as well apply to souls / consciousness.
@SkallagrimNilsson i believe souls, consciousness and the creator all all one and the same. scientist are starting to realize that there is a infinite energy source that might have started the universe and that there was no beginning to it. it always was and always is. The creator (God) is a conscious soul who split itself up in an infinite amount of ways to create what you see now. thats just my opinion. you can't have a creation without a creator unless it's infinite and eternal i suppose

I have OBE (out of body experiences) all the time but I do not enjoy them. My heart beats fast, I feel electrically charged, weightless, weak, numb and dizzy. I feel as If Im floating and Its very annoying! Can this be stopped? It happens to me once a week.

A lot of religions were created to control human beings. Justice and making sure everybody pay for their wrong doings is a weak based in fear human reaction that the true Source of all energy aka God never took part in. Either you follow man-made law (which leads to oppression and chaos) or you follow Divine Law (revealed through Prophets). People do need to pay for their wrong otherwise there is injustice and no motivation for people to do good if wrong and right action are rewarded equally. You are no doubt following man-made law in your life's affairs so that's a contradiction.

This is very powerful information and true! I didn't accept this either until one day I had something really OUT THERE that happened to me! I even have an atheist friend who said that they've had this happened to them too. It seems like we are waking up on many levels but a lot of folks just won't accept or too terrified to accept. @blakenator123 Hi i am no expert but the way i understand it an Obe is when you physically see yourself leave your body, like lets say you watch tv and suddenly you start to float outside your body which is what happend to me, and astral projection is where you project you consciousness to another plane or place of exitence that is not of this world.

I had a type of seizure in class and for the next 20 minutes I felt cold all over, then I left class and set in the hallway and close my eyes for a moment then felt my chest rise into the air.Then for the next two weeks every thing was blurry in my vision.

That picture blows my mind. 12 or 13 years ago I was in a hotel room (travelin on business, was ther for 2 weeks). 1 night, I felt like I was awake or maybe it was a dream state of sorts. In this dream that did not feel like a dream, I was hovering or floating over my bed and my sheets were over me, flapping as if wind or air was making the sheets flap. I could hear them flapping. That is all it was really but it seemed so real. Odd, yes! Do I talk about it, no!

I have also attempted the Monroe technique for some time, although very deep states, I was not able to remember the OBE. I then followed Robert Bruce's advice. Great books by him, and btw we don't leave the body we create a duplicate. I really think Robert should of gotten an Nobel prize for that finding..

The key to initiating Astral Travel is finding a relaxing place and posture that best suits your preference. Also, breathing is extremely important! I Travel with relative ease when I relax my mind of all thoughts and breathe through my nose and out my mouth, focusing my awareness only on the air moving through my body. Start by going somewhere you feel the most comfortable. For me, it is in my bed. Wear the clothes that you are the most comfortable in. Close your eyes and focus on your breathing, taking long breaths maybe 7 seconds in and out. Focus all of your awareness on the air going into your nose, into the pit of your stomach and out your mouth, leaving behind all conscious thought. Before long, you will be a ghost! Don't be afraid of the raise in resonating energy you will feel.
I learned to Astral Travel about two years ago. After many attempts, I almost gave up but one day it happened! I heard my breathing as if I was inside my own chest and shortly thereafter I literally removed myself from my own body and stared at it! I then walked through the door and went into my living room and flew outside the window through the neighborhood and returned shortly thereafter to my body. Yes you can speak with your loved ones , they are now on another dimension and it happens to me frequently with my dad who passed in 99. Every time I see him I remind him he is dead and he laughs and once said death is not what people think it is.....just a note there is nothing to be afraid of ! just enjoy the adventure.

Ive being projected out of my body lot of times, first time I was 14, today I strongly believe that the astral projection is a very dangerous thing. If you believe in God you know that there's nothing in bible that says about A.P. to me it's just evil trick to us...the people who experienced A.P, always talk about goodness and stuff, but never recognize that Jesus is absolute our savior...so thats why I think A.P is very dangerous camp to explorer.
the apostle Paul had a O.B.E., remember he said I went to the third heaven...whether in the body or out the body...he didn't know...he had an O.B.E., just didn't know how to explain it.
it's a natural thing, the bible talks of it in Corinthians II, Chapter 12. See LatinoPara comment below. It also mentions the silver cord in Ecclesiastes 12:6. Jesus never condemned it, I'm sure he talked to his close disciples about many things that he did not speak of to the general public, especially back then. Another point, If someone tries to use this in anyway agaist another person, there are Angels, guardians that watch and control situations getting out of control.

Also, it is said that Jesus would find a quiet place each morning away from the disciples to talk to the Father. James, set your alarm for about 4 am stay awake for about an hour. Go back to sleep, try to clear your mind and let random images enter your mind. Often times you will see colors with a swirling effect I happpn to see greens and blues. Remember to stay concious. just thought i share an experience with everybody ok around september 2009 i had recently came back from el salvador and i had a dog named chucha right and like a week after she had this big ball by her stomach and to sum it up she made it passed the night but passed away around 6 to 7 am and i didnt get no sleep until 9 or 11 and im sure it was painfull bekause she cried but to sum it up 1 last time when i fell asleep i literally felt light as if i came out my body and i walked to the kitchen

the way i do it is by internally chanting a two syllable mantra internally and in syc with my breath bringing my breath to an almost halt. then all my body vibrates and a trumpet like sound is heard accompanied by a very blissful feeling. Then i start heading towards the ceiling and off to wander. First i was scared and awed by the experience, then gradually i got used to the feeling . Its truly an amazing experience.

You don't need to worry. The existence of a soul or spiritual body does not mean that there is a god. As William says, people are creating their own realities on the astral plans, but if they strongly believe in heaven for instance they are actually limiting their spiritual potential by creating a limited form-based environment.
The perspective of William of many other people is basically that we ourselves are gods in a certain way.

Well, there are many theories that can explain how souls come into existence without being created. One of the simplest arguments that come to my mind right now is this: If god was not created by anyone/anything and was "just there", why should the same not be true for souls? Christians have been trying so hard to promote their idea of an almighty divine being that this image has stuck to a lot of people's minds, and it tends to make them blind to other ideas.

In the end we cannot be completely sure unless we manage to experience the spiritual world for ourselves, through OBE's or other methods. In any case, I can pretty much assure you that even if a single god existed he would not be so malicious to punish you for thinking for yourself and trying to find your truth instead of parroting what some religious extremists are threatening you with.
I think the old wisdom also applies to the spiritual: There is nothing to fear but fear itself.

Actually there is no need for a higher intelligence other than ourselves. There is no evidence that would point to us being created. Our consciousness might have evolved, just like our physical bodies.
By the way, a higher intelligence does not solve the problem of creation, if you actually view that as a problem. Who or what has created the higher intelligence? Was it always there? Has it evolved? The answer to the last two questions can just as well apply to souls / consciousness.

I have OBE (out of body experiences) all the time but I do not enjoy them. My heart beats fast, I feel electrically charged, weightless, weak, numb and dizzy. I feel as If Im floating and Its very annoying! Can this be stopped? It happens to me once a week.

A lot of religions were created to control human beings. Justice and making sure everybody pay for their wrong doings is a weak based in fear human reaction that the true Source of all energy aka God never took part in. @unseenocean Every "holy" book is written by mortal men, they are full of human expressions, corrupted language and they've have always been the main source for racism, violence, terrorism and wars. Since I had my OBE's and other psychic experiences I have never more needed any religion. NOBODY will any more tell me what God thinks.

@grownman455 Another new age & modernist Christian error is considering that 'fear' is wrong. Rather fear is an emotion/instinct given by God to man in man's own interests. If you don't fear that which should be feared then you can be harmed. Man is motivated by pleasure and pain & the prophets came giving good news & warning, motivating by Hell & Paradise,love of God & Gratefulness is an additional motivation but perhaps connected to the other two motives. Evil comes from not fearing God.

Fear is not wrong at all Fear is just not in line with God You can have fear but the God i know is waiting for you on the love and happiness line.You only get harmed if you fear not the other way around. Man is motivated by pleasure only because deep down the soul knows you suppose to be happy and he has pain because of the fear based system installed 1000 years ago. Human reality is that many people are evil, arrogant, Godless, idolatrous, deceitful, untrustworthy, selfish etc. Sounds nice you loving everyone and everything, but such behaviour only allows evil to spread and corruption to reign and also gives no guidance for transactions and spheres of life. I'm sure we are in an agreement that God made imagination so couldn't God use imagination if he choose to? What I have learned is not New age what I have learned I knew way before they named it new age and was here way before the Christian or any religion existed.. The difference between me and some i research before religions were created so I can determine the distorted parts.

This is very powerful information and true! I didn't accept this either until one day I had something really OUT THERE that happened to me! I even have an atheist friend who said that they've had this happened to them too. It seems like we are waking up on many levels but a lot of folks just won't accept or too terrified to accept. Like it or not, there's more to us than meets the eye and soon enough you will KNOW not just believe!

@blakenator123 Hi i am no expert but the way i understand it an Obe is when you physically see yourself leave your body, like lets say you watch tv and suddenly you start to float outside your body which is what happend to me, and astral projection is where you project you consciousness to another plane or place of exitence that is not of this world.

@blakenator123 OBE's is more wider theme than astral projection. Because Out of body experience can be when you're nearly dead or something, but astral projection is your consciousness or your unconsciousness want to practise it.

@blakenator123 Technically there is only consciousness so it's all one (or nothing to be precise as it is non dualistic in nature) so we measure the events subjectively by comparing experience. OBE's and Astral, in this regard are similar though language and social context can influence the event to create subtle differences. That picture blows my mind. 12 or 13 years ago I was in a hotel room (travelin on business, was ther for 2 weeks). 1 night, I felt like I was awake or maybe it was a dream state of sorts. In this dream that did not feel like a dream, I was hovering or floating over my bed and my sheets were over me, flapping as if wind or air was making the sheets flap. I could hear them flapping. That is all it was really but it seemed so real. Odd, yes! Do I talk about it, no!

I have also attempted the Monroe technique for some time, although very deep states, I was not able to remember the OBE. I then followed Robert Bruce's advice. Great books by him, and btw we don't leave the body we create a duplicate. I really think Robert should of gotten an Nobel prize for that finding..

The key to initiating Astral Travel is finding a relaxing place and posture that best suits your preference. Also, breathing is extremely important! I Travel with relative ease when I relax my mind of all thoughts and breathe through my nose and out my mouth, focusing my awareness only on the air moving through my body. I actually have a novel out that is a fictionalized version of an encounter with a future version of myself that showed me a different aspect of existence!

Since my first Astral Travel, I have grown to the point that I can do it almost at will. I am still learning to control where I go but I do know that intent has a lot to do with it as well as believing in the awesome power of the human mind. I have sparred with entities on the continent of Africa, moved back and forward in time, and have flown past Jupiter once. I must say that there is so much more to existence than what we have been taught!

Start by going somewhere you feel the most comfortable. For me, it is in my bed. Wear the clothes that you are the most comfortable in. Close your eyes and focus on your breathing, taking long breaths maybe 7 seconds in and out. Focus all of your awareness on the air going into your nose, into the pit of your stomach and out your mouth, leaving behind all conscious thought. Before long, you will be a ghost! Don't be afraid of the raise in resonating energy you will feel.

I learned to Astral Travel about two years ago. After many attempts, I almost gave up but one day it happened! I heard my breathing as if I was inside my own chest and shortly thereafter I literally removed myself from my own body and stared at it! I then walked through the door and went into my living room and flew outside the window through the neighborhood and returned shortly thereafter to my body. Since then I have had remarkable encounters, including enhanced psychic abilities.

Yes you can speak with your loved ones , they are now on another dimension and it happens to me frequently with my dad who passed in 99. Every time I see him I remind him he is dead and he laughs and once said death is not what people think it is.....just a note there is nothing to be afraid of ! just enjoy the adventure.

Ive being projected out of my body lot of times, first time I was 14, today I strongly believe that the astral projection is a very dangerous thing. If you believe in God you know that there's nothing in bible that says about A.P. to me it's just evil trick to us...the people who experienced A.P, always talk about goodness and stuff, but never recognize that Jesus is absolute our savior...so thats why I think A.P is very dangerous camp to explorer.

it's a natural thing, the bible talks of it in Corinthians II, Chapter 12. See LatinoPara comment below. It also mentions the silver cord in Ecclesiastes 12:6. Jesus never condemned it, I'm sure he talked to his close disciples about many things that he did not speak of to the general public, especially back then. Another point, If someone tries to use this in anyway agaist another person, there are Angels, guardians that watch and control situations getting out of control.

Also, it is said that Jesus would find a quiet place each morning away from the disciples to talk to the Father. Meditation is the art of quieting your conscious thoughts and opening the subconscious to the infinite vastness and divine presence of the Father. On random nights I will suddenly feel like I am falling through the air and it is weird I feel the need to wake up like im having some kind of dream and im going to hit the ground and I wake up in my bed feeling like I just fell from the sky with my heart rate going crazy. this happened to me last night!! exactly how you mentioned it... i felt this energy lift up, like half a foot from my body... and i couldn't move myself! i kinda got scared, so i moved my fingers just to check, and i felt like i merged back into one. i guess if i didn't limit myself, i could've explored more. i always get deja vu, does this have something to do with it?

right... that's exactly how i felt. like there was an energy in the form of my body floating above me, and i could sense it; but at the same time, my physical self was frozen or something. idk it's hard to explain. i've been trying to do it again since then, but so far nothing... when it feels like i'm about to "take off," i fall back into my regular self.

No, it is completely safe. If you think it's going to be dangerous, you will have a "dangerous" experience. Spend no more than 5-10 seconds out of your body once you first achieve it, and jump back into your body saying to yourself that you achieved it - and it will be good from here on out.

I am very new to this but I have read that if you try satral projection and have fear and when it's happening then you might end up in the lower planes where the vibrations are weak and you might encounter or see things you might not like so my question is how do you get to the point where you can say "I'm ready" can someone give advice as to how to prepare for an astral projection?

mcdwg11, this is simpler than u think. good thoughts are good vibrations, bad thoughts are bad vibrations. They more good the thought, the higher the vibration and vice versa. This dictates where u go in the astral realm. good thought lead u 2 a higher realm of good beings, while bad thoughts lead u 2 a realm of bad beings. Cause and Effect my friend.
