If you use a small enough flat head, you dont need to break the security pin. Just go around it.

Also, does anyone know how to fix a jammed button? My Left Bumper is fucked, you have to press it really hard for it work. Do you think if I open my controller I can fix this somehow?

warm water and tooth brush. dip tooth brush in hot water (make sure theres no dripping) and just brush on/around the button.

right, no need to DISASSEMBLE< just mask off all the parts you DON'T want to paint, and expect the paint to be obidient and not leak through, which it will.

buy a security torq screw but it will be a lot of hassle to find one so i suggest you keep trying. use a thin small but long flathead screw driver so u can break the little bump. IT IS EASY trust me.

It's not hard, you just stick it in there and break it... that's what she said.

Anyway, the best way to do it is to go on amazon or something and buy a set of torx security screw drivers for like $5.

I recommend using a torx tamper resistant TR9 driver because it fits more snug than the TR8 and you wont damage the driver you can get a set of drivers at any good computer store forget about going to home depot and lowes they dont have the tamper resistant ones

you dond need a security screwdriver. all you have to do is put a small flat screwdriver in and snap off the little pin that is poking up then a ordinary t8 should work.

To make this less of a problem if you want to take it apart again is to buy regular t8 screws so you can use a regular t8 screwdriver.

i have never had that problem but i think when u opened it u got the motherboard dirty or there is something sticky on it that is making it do that but that is just a geuss.

The problem might be is the T8 screwdriver you have isn't a "security" screwdriver. Security screwdrivers have a hole in the middle to make the screw work. The screws on the 360 controoler all of these security pins in them. You can get a scurity screwdriver kit at your hardware store.

cool, if you want to break them you need a really small flat head basically, and lever the pin out of the screw, it might take some effort though.

i bought it off ebay have 100pc sets with all torx security bits and more. check ebay chepist like 15-20$ for big set. but little dont have all sizes so big set is cheaper.

The controller uses Torx security screws which needs the corresponding security bit which can be purchased at Home Depot. Then the metal pin in the middle of the screw isn't a problem!

i broke my metal pin in the middle by pushing on it qwith a really small flathead

it broke off in seconds...or you can fit it in and twist it and the thing will bend...keep doing it and it should snap off
