  • I love this music, it perfectly encapsulates the sad fate of Rapture and it's people.

  • When I used to play the multiplayer last year I would love listening to this. I would even listen to it while I played the multiplayer. Got to rank 20 on the leader boards and played with Zecker and Winterized. I miss those days.. :(

  • Great now I have to backtrack and found out just what this DJMamu said.

  • Adrew Ryan is proud to have you! Crush the parasite! We'll save this city together!

  • This song is so awesome it plays itself twice!

  • And you know the animators and directors and whatnot of these companies work on the same games, right? All these games inspire each other, and maybe adults would start giving games the respect they deserve if their fucking pubeless fans weren't constantly arguing about frivolous shit.

  • What is all this faggotry about what game is best?! MW2 is mostly used by soulless multiplayer freaks yes, but its first person is still AMAZING. That part when you play as an astronaut for a few seconds, looking down at the Earth when the Nuke went off. GAVE ME GOOSEBUMPS. Obviously Bioshock is better, but MW2 is still a great game, as is Halo, Metroid, Gears, Crysis, Killzone.

Just don't mention Duke Nuke 'Em -___-

  • @HotFuzz456 lol true when i saw duke nukem i was like wtf is this??? this crap could seriously use some Antialiasing. it looked so ugly and stupid i couldnt believe it was a new game

  • @HotFuzz456 Oh god. Ew. 14 years wasn't long enough.

  • Djmamu is a troll. :)

  • Damn that songs awesome I love just chilling listening to it while waiting for a game

  • Splice like its 1959!

  • When i just got bioshock i turned into this greedy asshole, harvesting every little sister. When i pleased Sander cohen, i saw that he has a chest wich can be opened with a key only he got. I killed him. When he was dead, i actually felt sad, i killed the only nice (yet crazy) person in the game. But i didn't break my rule. i never harvested another little sister again.

  • @eeLkiR I'm very glad you changed your ways.

  • mysterious and epic music, but verry too short!

    but i love this song

  • i think MW2 is a better "gaming" type of game but i love bioshock 1 and 2 because you can just be yourself and relax in rapture while spending an evening with sander cohen.

  • THIS GAME IS BETTER THAN MW2 BY FAR, i dont care what anybody else thinks

  • Heck, Wilkins looks good as new, folks!

  • I love this track. I have the CD because I own the special edition, so I still listen to this a lot.

  • Poor splicers.

  • lol anyone for multiplayer??? =)

  • If one listens closely, this can be heard in the hunting the big sister trailer

  • why repeat it?

  • Garry Schyman is a brillant man.

  • I f you want the ''Sounds Of The Lighthouse'' take the BioShock 2 Special Edition! I took it and it had it (with many other things)

  • Time to beat the crap out of splicers online :) Best multiplayer lobby music EVAR

  • They told me, "2K, you're special. You were born to make great games. You know what? They were right."

  • "Fight or Fall, we can't stop it now!"

  • DJMamu is going to feature in cohen's next masterpiece.....

    symbolising the DOUBTERS.

  • I finally found this song. When I played Bioshock 2 i heard it and started looking for it. I JUST FOUND IT.

  • this song gets me in the mood to play online in rapture :D

  • Bioshock wouldn't be the same without this amazing music...

  • This music is a wonderful combonation of happiness and sorrow to me. But, no matter what, I will still be frightened by Spider Splicers that jump you from behind, despite sad music playing.

Wonderful piece, beautifully composed~ And I thought I loved the first soundtrack for the first game.

  • i like subject delta

  • I really cant wait for the movie. I'm a loyal fan to the Bioshock franchise, and if I had anything to say about it. They would never stop making new Bioshock games. I really loved Bioshock 2. I thought the scenery and the atmosphere was way better than the original. Allthough I may be the only one who thinks so.

  • @Macz338

Yay fans of bioshock unite! may it never end ^_^

  • @Macz338 Your not alone. I absaloutley friggin loved the first one. Second one, my jaw dropped. I love bioshock so much, it has sadness, and thats what i like, this music piece ive been listening too since April 7th (my birthday, also when i got Bioshock 2), its just so great.

I cannot wait for infinite, and i really hope they make more afterwards.

  • @SunlightData they are going to make around six bioshock games in all.

  • @Macz338 You do know the movie may not work out, right? First, they need like $600,000,000 to make it (which they don't have). Second, the production team has refused to make the movie "R" rated, like it should be. Everyone but the director wants it to be "PG-13" rated, which is gonna suck.

  • Best BS2 song :P

  • ...And DJMamu, my friends, is the reason we must use condoms: so that no more idiots are born.

On to the song. I wish it was on iTunes, but all they've got is the stuff by other artists. It's truly creepy, and it does a great job portraying the ruined cityscape, the terror of it, the sorrow of it, and of course the underwater aspect. great job, i really wish i had some way to buy it.

  • the Bioshock series could survive if the game was outside the city aswell.. well thats what people say and i think its bullshit. i just loved returning to my favorite underwater city :D and i loved every minute!

  • This is a really great song the way the song goes is really great because it's beautiful and creepy at the same time... It's pretty unique... Good song..

  • 2k whatever is awsome for making these games i hope there is more in the series to the bioshock world

  • Ketuph man

    cookies

    cat

    PAPER

  • were i can download the album

  • @cjavier96 i really want to know! ANYONE?!

  • these songs were made for bioshock and no other game

  • I love this thme, so hopeless, yet hopeful at the same time. Just amazing!

  • Makes you come back to the game doesn't it?

  • @RobReignhell yea it makes me wanna come back

  • This got catchy the first few times I heard it... became one of my favorite songs in the soundtrack of this sequel.

  • Kicking myself right now for not buying the special edition.......

  • FFFFFFFFF- I regret not buying the limited edition!

  • hahahahahah I feel like such a cheater. I hope you don't mind, but as a fellow bioshock fan, i am downloading all the audio from these videos instead of buying them. Thanks man

  • def a smart move ha im doing the same thing. its not cheating , its smart : )

  • best soundtrack ever. glad i bought special edition.

  • This has definitely taken a spot at the top of my favorite pieces.

I really like that you went ahead and looped it since it is such a short track... I listen to this when I'm studying alone and its wonderful.

  • I think this is one of the best songs on the soundtrack..This, Pairbond and Send Him Howling Back To Hell. >:DDDD Send Him Howling Back To Hell totally makes me feel like a badass big daddy whenever I play it.

  • I boot up Multi before SP so I can appreciate SP more.

I hear this song, instead of touching any button.

    I almost start crying.

  • Have you even given it a descent chance? It's not that bad. It's no MW2, but it's actually surprizingly cool. It has its own twist on things, yet stays true to the multiplayer genre.

  • I don't want to sound like a blurb, but he's right. There's something strangely fun about the multiplayer. It has a unique style of play, but doesn't detract from what good multiplayer should be.

  • Your right, it is no MW2. It's actually balanced and fun.

  • @DJMamu Learn to spell faggot.

  • @DJMamu Looks like somebody is buuuutthuuurt.

  • @DJMamu ;_;

  • DJMamu is hereby getting the perma boot.

  • @Manialt

Can You Upload the Ambience from the Multiplayer Menu? (Y'know,When Things Creak and such)

  • @DJMamu Ok, shut up Dr. Suchong, we all know you're gay.

  • @DJMamu your brain is so full of fucccck

  • then why did you write that useless comment?

  • @DJMamu umm(eye twitches).... You go do that (eye twitches again)

  • @DJMamu

I think I just lost a few brain cells reading that "comment".

  • @DJMamu I was looking back on these older comments.Dam dude Legobucket's right.I just lost a few braincelss myself.

  • @DJMamu you need to learn to stop writing in small little pieces of shit and learn to write out the WHOLE word, i lost a few braincells too because of all of those little pieces of shit you wrote LEARN!

  • true!

  • Best. Music. Ever.

  • this alone deserves recognition worldwide

  • Fuck now I have to go play Bioshock 2 again.

  • i just love the soundtrack of BioShock 2 more then the first BioShock <83

  • this is a beautiful peace of music

  • words can not describe..

  • This is strange. This music is beautiful and creepy at the same time... I bet no one can do this but Garry Schyman. He's a great man.

  • Yup. The guy who did dead space is good too, but this has him beat.

  • He must be a psychopath; all great artists arexD jk, but his work is phenomenal...

  • this is beautiful

  • I bet bioshock 2 will get best music in video game award or something

  • I got my BioShock 2 LE early too :D

  • Oh Garry. His music is fantastic.

  • I have to say, his music takes you into another world... or a spooky place, I love it!

  • yeah the music in the game brings you in total immersion, this is the first game since a long time who hold me focused for al whole evening :p.

    Bioshock 2 is really good.

  • I SO AGREE WITH YOU!!!!!!!!!!

  • THANKS DUDE!!!

  • Oh sorry. I hadn't seen that there. Well anyways, thanks for uploading all these.

  • This song is so beautifull! It fit's the game so well.

    Anyone knows who made this?

  • Read the info mate, Garry Schyman.

  • man if you have special edition can you make video of artbook scans or something.

    Will be appreciated!

  • I personally think you should put some credit into the Hollywood Studio symphony.... Oh well, no one ever does.... :(

  • everyone does appreciate the symphony however. you can get anyone to PLAY an instrument. the trick is to train it like garry does it so wonderfully

  • I kind of disagree. Personally speaking from my pov I dislike how many movies will have such moving music, however, give no credit whatsoever to the people whom played the music. These guys did but most don't I think that is kind of neglectful not to mention it becomes harder for us to get future jobs without getting a name around.
