Just recently tried out one of these beauties at my local store Fox UK Music, theyre doing an awesome price at £385 on any of the Fender standard Mexian Strats and Teles at the moment. Recommend checking their store out by google searching!
Ive played this guitar a number of times, i nearly bought it, however the pickups simply arent worth the money, sorry but it's true, you could always replace them but id rather just get a different guitar, just my advice/opinion
@CantonezSpere Yes you are right. But everything else (except pickups and pots) is fantastic. I bought one, changed it's PUPs, pots and tuners and it is now a really great guitar.
@gmilisavljevic Yup, the rest of it's pretty awesome, even though it's mexican made it's well put together, and plays pretty well, the only thing that bothered me is the pickups. Which pickups did you put in? and how much did it cost you?
Nice to get the clean & overdriven sound of the instrument, but you give no info about which pickups you were using, tone and vol settings or the amp pairing, which would be helpful. That said, rock on dude!
Just bought this guitar yesterday, and i absolutely love it. incredibly versatile, and playing through the clean channel is just amazing, such a great sound.
@doofbanman Can you tell me more about the sound. How do you like the bridge pickup with volume set up to 10? Just tell me more of the sound, tell me how much on a scale from 1 to 10 can you define the low, mid and high frequencies aka bass, middle and treble?
@orfmor I'll be honest with you, my ear isn't really refined enough that i could give you an accurate answer to your question. If you like, you can tell me in detail what the various settings are you'd like to see the amp on (distortion/clean/bass/mid/treble) and i can make a video for you so you can actually hear what it sounds like. I use a solid state Fender Princeton Chorus amp.
@GiantBlackWomen I have no idea but as an active musician i can honestly say its WAY more than bang for your buck! this guitar plays incredibly and sounds amazing! It could easily be more expensive and STILL be an outstanding deal
@GiantBlackWomen because its new they want them to get in the hands of people and get feed back if these go over well they will make usa versions, Im a fender guy and i play blues, classic rock i was looking for a Tele and came across these. My Strats need a friend but i was set on a regular one but seeing these its hard i might try one out, lol I love the look of the humbucker in the Tele but i think the strats are ugly.
Nice sound. I wonder why no one records himself playing ska on Telecasters. If you know ska stuff i would be very thankful to you if you do some ska rhythms.
was it a light brown fret board or dark brown fret board? sorry i dont know the correct terminoligy, i want the black one too with the dark brown fret board, i played one a few days ago and its great
I would like this with a pair of emg's

@CantonezSpere The guitar was purchased for 410 EUR in local store, and costs for additional parts:
120 EUR Seymour Duncan pickups (Jazz on neck and JB at bridge),
26 EUR 2 push-pull log pots and
65 EUR Schaller locking tuners.

You can demo a tele, a rickenbacker, a danelectro...anything. And someone will ask the preverbial question: "Does it do metal?"
hahaha

@lighteningboy Indeed, hahahahaha

i think i like the maple neck more than the rosewood
forsakenothename 1 year ago 15
@forsakenothename i prefer rosewood, but it's simple taste
CantonezSpere 4 months ago
I learned nothing from this video other than you don't know what rosewood looks like and some people really suck at making videos.
