@Stuckinaboot, even though the video was very dark, i gave it a chance and although the way you said to do it did not work for my tyer of phone it did aLLOW me to find another way to add free ringtones using only the rec/ & set as ringtone option so thank you very much for that good job kid.

I figured out how to text message an .mp3 (disguised as a .mid) to my Verizon phone (lg vx5300). I can play it within the message perfectly, but when pressing "Save as Ringtone" it says "File size must be under 350 kbyte", even when the attached file clearly says it's only 300kbyte. Anyone know how to fix this?
