There is a padded bar that is placed over the head and shoulders. When it is locked, you are held firmly in place. While I didn't ride this specific ride, I have been on similar rides in other fairs. It's awesome. Make sure your personal items are secured first. I saw someone lose a cellphone.
thers no straps at the peach fest in michigan, lol... theres only bars all around you so you dont fall out LOL just hang on for dear life, jk lol u stay in ur seat dont worry.
ok weni lived in kentucky we had that like all fairs (we live in iowa) but they had a bar like over your lap and the thing most metel roller costers have to hold you down its a really fun ride just not right after you eat

The scary part is when they stop you upside down.
I had a necklace on it was about to slip off,
