Anita Dunn made that comment in jest and everybody knows that. Scarborough is a dishonest conservative tool.

@beeshor1...... Anita Dunn did not make the comment in "jest".  To say that is just completely false. At the same time, she did not praise any of Mao's ideology or atrocities like Beck stated. She used and likes to reference quotes of both Mao and Mother Teresa while trying to get her point across as she did in the video Beck referenced.

Anita Dunn has stated several times that her comment was facetious. It was made in jest. It wasn't meant to be taken seriously. My statement was not false. This is from the New York Times:

"Glenn Beck, the Fox commentator, struck back, broadcasting a video of Ms. Dunn delivering a speech in which she called Mao Tse-Tung, the Chinese communist leader, one of her favorite political philosophers a comment he called insanity. She said the reference was facetious."

Before it's all said and done I foresee that the administration will attempt to have Fox news shutdown. The Left always tries to shutdown opposing media. Look at Cuba and Venezuela for the play book on this. Soon the we will have to listen to shortwave to hear real news because the radicals will have conservative broadcasters shut down

The timing on this by the Whitehouse, is because they cannot afford another ouster similar to Van Jones. Dunn is on tape clearly expressing respect for Mao. She's toast, but she's way up their in the Obama camp.. much higher than Van Jones...

The WH is going to throw as much smoke in hopes to obscure this story as they can, and hope to intimidate other news outlets from running this story. I don't think it is going to work, but we'll see....

Scarborough used to scoff as the concept of any media bias... I captured that video and have it in my archives... so it is fascinating that of all ppl, Scarborough is taking the principled position. I give credit where credit is due.

I just wonder how many seconds he has left at MSNBC, but he has guts, I'll say that...

(He's absolutely dead on right, but that doesn't matter to MSNBC, as far as I've seen)

I watch Fox more than any network but I do watch Morning Joe a lot too. It is the only show MSNBC has that sometimes and I say sometimes says smart things. Scarborough is the only person on that entire network that I admire. He has said some partisan things as all commentators have but he has been fair a lot of the times to Republicans. I applaud him for his couarage to say what he said and you know that his comments had to just irritate his bosses. Keep up the good work Joe.
