ive had a lot of dogs and i rescued them all with my family. since i was 3 we've had 25 dogs,14 of them were the puppies of my dog Jenna which we had to bring back to a shelter.I now have one dog because we have given almost all of the dogs away and a few died,but most of them,as far as i know,have great families and are happy. ☺☺☺♥♥♥

The person that replied to me stated that I was sending them a chain letter, but that they felt the need to reply because the e-mail came all the way from Australia.

Update regarding bruce's situation. Shannons legal team have applied for "case stated" and there is to be a hearing today.. We are not certain of how the legal system works in NI but we think(!) that this hearing will be to set out the case and it may then be able to be put forward to the court of appeal at a future hearing.

Please do keep everything crossed for shannon and especially for Bruce this tuesday regardless of what the hearingis. His fate may depend on it

I just hate these laws. How cruel to keep such a beautiful sweet pitti in a long term kennel situation. My friend and I were at a dog park the other day and we both commented how the pb's were the ones causing the least "trouble" My little rat terrier ( who looks like a mini pit ) caused more trouble in 10 minutes then all 5 of the pb's all evening.

Thanks to my friend rockinfortheplanet for sending this along! I signed the petition back in March, and yesterday have sent letters to legislators in Ireland. I believe his "execution" has been postponed until all the legal actions have been allowed. But he is still on "death row" and kept in deplorable conditions. IT IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!! I will now forward this to everyone on my list and I so so hope we can do something to save this poor, loving boy! THIS IS SO SHAMEFUL!!!

billy2rivers1, yes Bruce also looks like our Patch and when you see how destructive this BSL profiling is it really brings it home to you that these dogs could all be on borrowed time, so it is time instead to change the law and Save Bruce before any more are killed for being born a type of dog. It is nothing short of murder by association! Breed Specific Legislation must end, stop the suffering and death of a generation of dogs. The legal system is killing them off one by one.

If Bruce had attacked and really hurt somebody, he could have been deemed unpredictable, aggressive etc, but no, his only 'crime' is his 'looks'. Hi there, I had asked a few people here in Ireland about this, my understanding was that in the UK the poor dog is a banned breed, but in Ireland comes under the dangerous dogs acts and therfore could be rehomed here, now that you have an offer what have they changed now? Im very sorry to hear this I honestly thought he was safe if offered a home in Ireland ,

Why would they care what breed he is, is what im trying to understand. I live in the US. As far as i know there are no rules for what type of breed your dog has to be. Does it require special care or something that's why he's not allowed in the country. I'm lost lol.

The way in which Bruce has been treated is dispicable.. if anyone else allowed their dog to become in the state that Bruce is now I am sure they would be prosecuted for animal cruelty .

It is so touching to see the world's compassionate people uniting for this poor dog who never hurt anyone, he was simply living his happy life with his family and his Labrador friend.
