I actually stole my pitbull from an abusive owner. I was trying to find a car and this guy that was selling a grand am was showing me the vehicle in the back of the house. I looked sideways and saw a pitbull tied up on a caller and chain that was so tight it was left marks around her neck. She was so skinny ( Obviously starved) and she has whip marks all over her. I went back that night and stole her. She didnt fight me once. DIdn't even bark when I showed up.
My dad and me would breed pitbulls growing up. He would sell them to good homes ( He actually did a background check and a house check on any potential buyer) , The pits that HE bred and trained NEVER so much as bit anybody! WHY? Because he knew what the fuck he was doing. Amazing dogs. <3

If you can`t afford to put up a dog proof fence & you refuse to socialize your dog you should not be allowed to own a pit, Rott, German Shepherd, Mastiff or any potentially dangerous large breed dog . I own 3 AmStaffs & a Staffy & am tired of hearing about pitbull attacks in the Barrio. If it continues to happen they will ban the breed. Wake up stupid punks !

I completely agree! I would LOVE to have a pit bull, but they have recently been banned because some idiot was not only fighting the pit bulls but they owned a puppy mill as well! I have a beautiful pitbull, my parents got her when i was 1 & now im 13. She is an excellent dog I love her to death :) she sleeps with me and we cuddle all night :) she is very protective of me and doesn't like ppl rlly pushing me around... she dont bite but she will give a warning growl... the only person she ever bit was me and I was pulling on her ears very hard... Pitbull is the perfect dog (superdog) the problem is that pitbull needs a strong and a good leader. If they dont have a strong leader then they will go out of control just like every other dogs but the pitbull is a very unik dog so when they go out of controll they become deangures. Thats why pitbulls have a bad reputation, because people dont know how to handle them those who know how to handle a pitbull and are good and strong leaders they will have the perfect dog and a best friend for life!
I LOVE IT! I completely agree. I have a 4 yr old red nose, his son who is now 11 months, also red nose, and I have a 9 month old blue nose. I also have 2 children, a 4 year old and a 2 year old. I cannot stand the way people blame the breed. My kids jump on them, play tug of war, my 4 year old's favorite thing to do it get the oldest dog in a bath and 'wash him up, mama' its the cutest. The Pit used to be called The Nanny Dog, because in the Depression, people would leave the Pit to mind their kids, like a babysitter, as Pits are so gentle, yet protective of the whole family (not a one person dog). Dogs in general can be dangerous when attacking! I've heard of a pomeranian killing a 6 month old infant. That doesn't mean that all Poms should be banned. My neighbour owned a staffordshire bull terrier, a pit bull type dog as they say. It was well cared for and at no time abused or mistreated. When my youngest child walked down the path only the fence kept that dog from attacking my child!!

Pitbulls just like every other breed of dog needs to be socialized with people and animals. I work at a kennel and have had experience with pitbulls. None of the pitbulls that come in are aggressive. We have had aggressive labs and mastiffs, but does that mean they're bad breeds, no. I have been bit by a lahasa, jack russel, and almost by a japanese chin, are they bad breeds, no.
My brother's friend has three pits and they are all fun loving companions they haven't bit me yet thank you for showing people this video, those bad owners should never own a dog again. We should all help spread the truth.

That is why criminals like Vick pick them to fight: The Pit is the MOST devoted, loving, obedient breed. They will DIE to please their owner, even if the owner is abusive! I'm a cat person. i like this video because it shows both sides of pitbulls not just one side. i own a pit and she's the sweetest thing ever! she's never bit anybody just yesterday she met someone new and all she did was bark to let me know someone was behind me.

I've seen pictures of every common breed of domesticated dog being mistreated, it means nothing in the fight to ban or otherwise the pit bull type breeds.
I've been bitten by a yorkshire terrier, a springer spaniel, neither did me any real harm. Nobody is arguing that these are the only dogs that attack, the spaniel breeds are one of the most aggressive breeds in the UK, the point is the damage a dog does, pit bull type breeds are notoriously vicious when attacking.

Pit bulls are surrounded by a lot of mythology and emotion. It is exceedingly difficult to find solid, factual,"unbiased" information about pit bulls. And without this reliable data, people risk making faulty generalizations. These generalizations can be very harmful to ANY breed.

1)According to Alfons Estelt of the American Temperament Test Society, Inc. temperament evaluations of American Pit Bull Terriers shows that this breed has a very high passing rate of 95%. The average passing rate for the other 121 breeds of dogs in the tests: 77%.
2)The 'pit bull'does not have a 'locking jaw'.

Dogs in general can be dangerous when attacking! I've heard of a pomeranian killing a 6 month old infant. That doesn't mean that all Poms should be banned. To single a breed out because of it's physical characteristics (like strength and size) is to discriminate and to further prove your lack of dedication to dogs in general. My doberman/pitbull mix is enormous yet she loves everyone and she keeps my wife and I safe from harm. You should really look into how bad genocide is...

My neighbour owned a staffordshire bull terrier, a pit bull type dog as they say. It was well cared for and at no time abused or mistreated. When my youngest child walked down the path only the fence kept that dog from attacking my child!!
how many of you have had your dogs properly trained? No doubt you'll all say you have, the reality is far more honest. Of all the decent folk I know who own a pit bull type breed none of them have had their dogs properly trained for a domestic life.

Pitbulls just like every other breed of dog needs to be socialized with people and animals. I work at a kennel and have had experience with pitbulls. None of the pitbulls that come in are aggressive. We have had aggressive labs and mastiffs, but does that mean they're bad breeds, no. I have been bit by a lahasa, jack russel, and almost by a japanese chin, are they bad breeds, no.

My brother's friend has three pits and they are all fun loving companions they haven't bit me yet thank you for showing people this video, those bad owners should never own a dog again. We should all help spread the truth.

great video. amazing hypocrisy in the US trying to ban such great companions because of a handful of bad eggs, yet there are more than two guns for every man woman and child in the country. tobacco and alcohol kill hundreds of thousands of people each year and are still legal.

what a GREAT video...I have a pittie and I LOVE him to death..and he LOVES EVERYONE to death too...but because of the bad rap they got everyone gives him ugly looks when we go out...it just annoys me how ignorant america is and how the media ALWAYS looks at the bad and NOT the good of the breed..thanks for the great video...

thank you..I feel the media and public can bash the pitbull in the ground but they never ever show the good. And like i said in the video...we wouldnt have the aggressive attack from a pitbull if it had a RESPONSIBLE OWNER!!! That is the bottom line...Not BSL....Wish we could ban the owners!
