@biglittlejujitsuman If it was an amber arrow (which you don't know that it was) it means the light for the opposing traffic would still be red. You can still legally enter an intersection on an amber light. The purpose is to allow traffic to stop in time for the red, or if they cannot stop, proceed through the intersection. None of this matters anyways since it was stated the light was red for the SUV.

You can clearly see damage on the driverside of the hood before the crash.

it appears the red SUV ran the red light... in most intersections, turn lanes are given green lights first and then straight lanes. The SUV was the only car going straight, few seconds later, a group of cars enter the intersection giving the impression that the light turned green. Also, the red SUV made no attempt to stop and avoid the collision while the white car at least made the attempt to sharpen the turn to avoid the hit but it was too late.

A lot of vehicles have an inertial switch that, when tripped from shock due to a collision, will cut power to the fuel pump, which will stall the car and keep it from running until you reset it.
The person in the white Taurus probably couldn't drive the car out of the middle of the intersection as a result without first getting out, opening the trunk (the switch on this car is located inside the trunk) and resetting the switch, then getting back in and starting the engine.

What I think really happened here is the cars turning left had an arrow, that had turned to a solid green before the Taurus got through, and the driver tried to make it, when the light turned green for the Blazer driver, he floored it (you can see the front of the car is hopped up like it's under heavy acceleration) then hits the Taurus on purpose because he know's he technically had the right of way. Another reason I think this, is just before the impact, the cars on the right start to go also.
@karkraz That's pretty much the way I'm seeing it too... with the possibility that the Blazer driver may have been approaching the intersection and anticipated that he was about to get a solid green and never slowed down. The white car probably did run an expired arrow. It's hard to tell anymore now that everybody's light seems to change at different times, what's happening on one side may not be happening on the other, now that we've begun to be so PC to left turn lanes with detectors.

Judging by the speed of the Blazer, it ran the intersection (since the rush of traffic comes afterward). If the Taurus did not have an advanced anymore then the Blazer must have hit the light close to the time it went green so he didn't have to stop--but you can pretty much rule that out because of the gap between traffic.
Either way you should probably not be so opinionated when you have no idea what really happened.
@David4946 She had to have had the green arrow seeing as all the other drives in front of her/him made the exact same turn. I'd say the SUV didn't have the green light yet or the white car was running an orange light. Either way, SUV is at fault because it left the scene.
@David4946 Actually I believe the white car had a green arrow. The Red blazer ran the light. I only say this because after the white car got hit, about 5 seconds later the left hand traffic gets the green light and starts to drive around the white car.
Looks more like traffic coming from the right ride had the green light and green aarow and the red SUV ran the light... notice after the white car gets hit, it takes a minute for other traffic to come from the left, and its moving alot slower than the SUV was.
My guess is that the red SUV was supposed to turn left, but he went straight ahead. Those roads sometimes have central lanes that are used for turning.

I was waiting to turn left, saw an SUV put on their left signal and get in the left turn lane; so I started turning left. Then he decides not to turn left and almost rams into me; and even honks at ME! Good thing I don't drive a rice burner piece of shit; I might not have gotten out of his way fast enough then...
