  • An incredible song. Killer music, heartbreaking lyrics. Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil absolutely rule here - and nobody could do this like the Vogues. So great.

  • One of my all-time fav's from the guys, written by Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil, it's a classic. Thewse guys cioulod really sing--I own 4 albums & 3 CD's. Wolfsky9

  • @Wolfsky9 yes in deed , very underratted, this is my favorite too, as u said written by Barry Mann,[ deceased now] who wrote Lovin Feelin , for The Rightious Bros, so many great writters came out of NYC in the 50's 60's, not to mention Carol King.......Wow!. Blows your mind

  • How in the hell did you find these clips? Freaking fantastic from a Vogues fan from western Pa!!!

  • The Vogues...just a great vocal group singing a great song with a theme that anyone can get close to. Thanks for an awesome post.

  • just saw the land of milk and honey video taken place in olvera street, los angeles. it's cute with their mexican costumes

  • Thanks for posting. The Vogues were and are a CLASS ACT. Best Wishes & Peace to ALL.

  • looks like miami during the miss universe pageant in the 60's

  • @preciousjey I think the host said it was Palm Springs.

  • WHERE DID YOU FIND THIS GEM!!?? FJA in NJ

  • I remember catching this first on the radio -- my college roommate told me that it was done by "The Boats" --- haaaaaa ! Anyway, more important, the VOGUES appeared with THE CLASSICS IV at my Jr. year prom ... it was great stuff -- even the tough guys who said going in that the style of both groups was lame, were blown away. Hughie was the comedian during and between both acts, Dennis Yost was great, but the lead for the VOGUES was the MAN !! Great Memories !

  • these guys were smooth and amazing compared to a lot of other groups of that era!

  • was this on the B side of "five o'clock world" 45?
