  • waaa waaa he didn't scream "sign the record company contract" in around F5, cry cry

be grateful it wasn't Steve Tyler - he would have tried and failed.

  • I like this. tommy does a very good job. boston lives.

  • it's too slow, it's too fast, it's not Brad Delp.......If you don't like it, get the fuck out of here and quit bitchin..........

  • Ugly witch on bass!! Get that shemale off the stage!!

  • Knee brace? Really?

  • @Twenty17 Tom Scholtz has been wearing that brace for a long time... I got to see them back in the early 2000s' when Bard was still alive. Tom had the brace on then.

  • Brad no longer be with the band but I'd say the new lead singer (whatever his name is) does a pretty good job. I can say one thing...at least this version sounds almost like the original....with a few added harmonies on the chorus. Great job. As for octave above...well I don't think God really ever intended for men to sing high, but some men when they're young try to push their vocal range...until they get older and realize they can't do it anymore.

  • Octave above. LOL Right? Hey, I'm sympathetic. I can't sing high. Some people just can't be substituted for.

  • NO ONE can replace Brad! Boston no longer exists for me.

  • @Sandy4orr Then get the fuck out of here.

  • Who is the guy singing this song?

  • @coppell32 Thats Tommy DeCarlo, who was chosen to sing with Boston based on his performances of Boston cover songs on his MySpace page. He's no Brad Delp, but who is, and he does a decent enough job IMO. Its a pity Tom Scholtz had the fall out with Fran Cosmo who shared vocals with Brad up until his untimely death. Its rumoured that Fran being sacked from Boston was part of the reason for Brads depression that ultimately led to his suicide. RIP Brad Delp!

  • This version is too slow. I wish they would've made a vid back in the day.

  • 76' HEADBANGIN TIME IN NEW ORLEANS-----BICENTENIAL

  • To the people who don't like the new vocalist, it's not their fault because Brad died so they had no choice but to replace him or they would have to quit.

  • RIP Brad!

  • No the same without Brad.

  • thank you for posting this and all of the other boston songs one of my top 15 favorite bands i was fortunate enough to see boston but without brad it was with the lineup in this song, but did get to see hear and meet brad when he formed the band RTZ got his autograph on a dollar bill RIP brad your voice will alaways perk up my ears

  • whoa... Pretty chick + bass + singing = excellence.

  • I can't get enough Boston.

  • God , I love to see BOSTON live , the best live band I have ever seen !!!!! If you have not , go see them......outstanding !!!!!!!!!!

  • This singer is ok. He's got big shoes to fill but falls short. Brad had a way of lighting up the band that can't be duplicated. It must be very weird and strange for the rest of the band to play without him. Miss you Brad, R.I.P.

  • He ain't Brad, but then again, who is? Probably the closest you'll ever get to Brad....

  • Great song!~ But what happend to the octave above??

  • @MistakenlyMistaken what happened to the actual tempo...lol

  • @MistakenlyMistaken - It's real simple... It died with Brad Delp (RIP). :(

He was an amazing talent that will be hard to be duplicated.

  • Hey guys when you come to japan?

  • Love it, same problem with Journey though. Just dost feel the same without the singers that MADE it famous. Arnel is great and so is this guy, but Steve Perry and Brad Delp are amazing

  • They do a great job of making original band! Good Job!!!!!!!

  • @PocaWolfenstein7 I agree, the singers really can't quite match the pure excellence of Brad, God rest his soul, and the song just doesnt seem driven, beat is too slow for my liking. This is just nitpicking really, long live Boston!

  • RIP Brad Delp...not the same with out you

  • Soundin' really good! Always loved that band. Some different players now, but keepin' the good tunes goin',.... good for them!!!

  • Thanks for the upload!! I added this classic to a '70s playlist.

  • why do they have a girl on bass?

  • @kobe4270 whats wrong with that?

  • @kell1reilly2 im just wondering. im not relle a big fan but i like some of there shit

  • @kobe4270 Because she's a great bass player, she's hot, but mostly to confuse you as to why she's a girl...

  • @HeRacesTheSun what happened there original bass player?

  • @kobe4270 Tom Scholz created and has played bass on all Boston recordings. He hired Fran Sheehan to play bass for the earlier live shows only. Then there was David Sikes, now Kimberly Dahme. They all learn and copy the bass lines that Tom created in the studio. Tom Scholz is the mastermind and driving force behind Boston. Hope this answers your question...

  • I LOOOVE BOSTON AND IM ONLY A TEEN

  • @joshuaguitarman YOU AGAIN!?!?! haha

  • @PocaWolfenstein7 yea its me, didn't plan on seeing ur name though, i just came for the music

  • @joshuaguitarman Haha, the singers range was a bit meh to me. A bit flat at times, BUT I STILL LOVES TEH BOSTONZ

  • @PocaWolfenstein7 yea thats true but i really don't care

  • thanks love this band.

  • Ok.....I love this song, but this guy sucks! They could have gone with Michael sweet or even Fran Cosmo. Bring in a lead singer who can at least have a wider range on vocals than this guy!

  • @sang222 no he rocks in his own way, even though sweets i better

  • Brad could never be replaced- NO one can be.. Does it mean these tunes should

never be played again..All the lead vocalist that have tried just add a little something

    each time!!

  • If all you fucking youtube wannabes think you can do better, get off your fat ass and get up there and sing

  • Hey, don't criticize that man on stage. Yeah, the band's different without Brad, but this guy actually isn't all too bad. I mean, all you haters, would you like to go up on stage in front of all those people and sing this song? Yeah, didn't think so.

  • give the guy a chance will ya!brad would have loved it!i should know,i knew him well

  • they suck ass now

  • That was goood Tommy... God bless you...

  • Brad Delp was the voice of Boston and is sorely missed! RIP Brad! You are sorely missed!

  • The guy has a mullet for heaven sakes!

  • not really that great a performance they definitely tuned down vocally not really certain why the decided on two vocalists imho Micheal sweet could have done it without a partner no dis to the home depot guy he is talented for sure but you would think they would leave it to the pros ans not have a karoke night

  • That slob sounds nothing like Brad except for a bit in the high register.

  • @Samhain35 Get your stupid ass up there and let's hear you sing......No original singer can ever be exactly duplicated........C'mon...I'm waitin on your negative stupid ass to belt some tunes out....Why don't you just listen and enjoy, or just don't watch the vids

  • Not the same without brad

  • @Ludwigzildjian1 How could it possibly be the same? What a pointless comment...

  • Awesome!!!

  • Dude.. WOW.. Really.. Like your video's are so well done you must have a team of guys working with you cause wow, your footage. ALL OF IT! Is A1 not fucking bullshit. I noticed cause there all at the same venue in the states. Could of fooled me and told me this was a DVD of each band, your pro. Keep it up, I subbed.

  • Great!

  • Great Job Tommy! from your old buddy Doug Boehlert

  • AWESOME!
