  • DID airflare take you ages to learn? i n ever even attempted it but seein as you only been bboyin for 2 years and got em?? I know people been breakinh for like 5+ years and can't do em but they can do about every other power move in the book like threading flares etc.

  • That's because fools these days aren't deticated enough. Hell f*ing yeah they're hard to learn and took me forever but I only got em because I wasn't a little pussy about not being able to do them and I kept practicing.

    I box as well but try to get at least 1-2 hours every day.

    Umm well haha I didn't know I could chairflare like that until that day. I kinda just practiced it a few times and it turned out like that. Well I think it's all in the timing of the hips and since I can airchair hop and airchair shootup it helps with the leverage of it. I'm not sure if I should make a tutorial since mine seriously aren't that great.

    Just train your airchair strength and it should come a lot easier.

  • Hm, yes in a way that's what I'm saying. I tried both the kys/hong10 way and the Ata/Born chairflare variation. I think the one I did in this vid. is harder than the one that born does. I noticed that when you do the chairflare that I did you have to pike a lot, lean back, and push as hard as you can. But at the same time do the flare motion after you throw the arm over. When you do it like Born it's like a jackhammer on your back while you kick the leg for height, then bent the leg back sorta.

  • Aw geeze I don't think my other comment went through. Anyways what I typed was that if you do a lot of airchair stuff it should come a lot easier for you. And no matter what if you keep practicing it you'll get stronger on the way so yeah. And judging by how fast I've seen you progress you'll probably get it in no time so don't even worry about it.

I can do chairflares pretty good I guess when I have a lot of energy for practice or if I feel strong that day. I was wondering what happened to your video's on the "Bboy Extreme" one but I didn't realize you had a second account lol.

  • lol ya but when i chairflare i go to stabbed and then do it would it help to go straight to airchair position in chairflare like you do? this is my last question and im really sorry to ask for so much tips just tell me weather i should go to stabbed or straight to airchair position :)

  • Well, maaaaybe. Imean it would put both movements in synchronization. And probably push you up more, but imean like I said It was easy for me I guess for me it was comfortable but it really does depend on whoever you are.

  • Yeah no prob. Um I remember before my legs used to fall a lot like yours but I guess I became stronger and stuff. I also learned from this other guy on youtube. Check out the guy with the youtube account "Chiatos" his chairflares are 10x better than mine =P and I learned by watching his too.

  • Yeah that's when I realized that I had to pike my chair(flare) while pushing as hard as I can. I haven't practiced these in weeks though. I had a major back injury and it's still recovering. lol I practiced all day yesterday so I'm sore xD

    but when I practice it I'll post up a video.

  • Oh nah not at all from that. It's a long story but basically I practiced Bboying and tricking like every single day in the beginning of this school year without any rest for a couple of weeks and eventually my body parts(including my lower back) started going out on me and I couldn't walk very well. I also got very sick. Anyways I healed up but the back injury was on and off. It came back last month and has been holding me back, but I think it's healing up again.

  • Nothing, absolutely nothing happened after HAHA. They just started sessioning and stuff but we left to the bank and to go eat and then to the play.
