i tried the whatever poison one and you know when your ipod is new and it has the usb cable and the itunes symbol to plug it in, yeah thats what happend now and the poison thing doesnt work my ipod is a touch 3G 4.1 i tried almost all even the jailbreak me site and all that crap and nothing works how can i do this one without having to completely erase and lose all my data in my ipod i reallydont want to lose all my vids and crap that i had before i stupidly upgraded when it was jailbroken HELP

Okay, this is my first jailbreak on my ipod touch 3g 4.1... For me, it exploits the firmware, then it gets stuck about halfway through, goes back to 0% and says its done. My ipod is then stuck in DFU mode. SOOOO then i had to restore it. Why the hell wont this work?
