I see the other flamingos as people who conform and do as they are told. The flamingo with the yo-yo is representative of the free-thinker and the rebel. He is the one that dares to be different from the rest and that is why he gets the bullying from the others.

When my mother watched "Fantasia 2000" and saw this song she told me "You are like that flamingo, right? You don't like the rules of the others, so you prefer to be different, and even if everyone smack you and beat you because you don't follow them you allways are on your own, gatting what you want". I can't be more agree with that, I'm like the flamingo with the yo yo =) xD

I love the animation by Eric Goldberg in this scene. It's so fun to watch. The thing that intrigues me is that each of those drawings were painted by hand with watercolors. It looks like a moving watercolor painting.
