I never understand the whole, "Don't look at a laser", when they are designed to be looked at! I mean, yes, you shouldn't look at it directly, but if you didn't look at it, you wouldn't see the effect! I've never been to a gig or club where they've said "we're just turning the lasers on, everyone look away" :P

You should avoid looking at the source, not the effect it creates. Surely you don't think the dot from a laser pen is harmfull to look at - just dont stare at where the laser beam starts!

Good advice.. YOU MUST NEVER LOOK INTO A LASER.. I did once.. now got a small spot in the vision of my right eye!!! Which will always be there, ok you get to live with it but I'd rather have perfect vision!!!
