okay you have to wait till there is an animal festival and the rock will be gone to go to brownie ranch then when you go to the Sundae Inn at 6 the bar is open and you will meet Kathy

I know everyone says MM was way better, but I think this one looks like it is. Maybe it's the appearance that puts me off MM-- WAY too cute. This is closer to Wonderful Life, which I LOVE, especially the style. Taller, thinner characters are far less grotesque than the ugly short-and-tubbyness of the usual style 0_o

@DiamShadowWraith Totally agree with you. I have this game, but went back to MM one day and was surprised that I even wanted it so bad in the first place. The characters are cute, but way too cute, to the point of being a little ugly. They look like little chubby babies with poked out butts!

Not that MM wasn't a good game, but ToT has more attractive looking chars.

For some odd reason this game reminds me of Mystical Ninja staring Goemon. Perhaps it's the graphic style.

basically, when they were all in the inn, he was telling them about a dream he had of a lady (harvest goddess) and the mayor was basically introducing him to the town. everything in the game is named after food. waffle island, waffle town, brownie ranch, sundae inn, caramel river, you get the picture.

I love all Harvest Moon games ive played so far, Tree of Tranquility being my favorite. I also own Magical Melody which was awesome, A Wonderful Life which is somewhat sad (ending), and I bought the SNES or N64 (can't remember which) via Wii Virtual Console. They're all pretty good, but this one is still the best. HM 4EVER!!

This version is very much like the N64 version, only with a more obvious plot and there isn't a definite end time. In the N64 version it was the ned of your third spring that you had to be "done" by because your father showed up, but in this one you can take as long as you want to do everything.

Also, you can play as a girl so there are a lot more potential spouses.

I'm pretty picky about harvest moon games, but this one is definitely a great one!

There are cheats for it but you have to have Ocarina/The homebrew channel on your wii. If you want to know how to get it then search for a tutorial on youtube.

When you build your barn, it will be there near the foder despenser. The dye pot will be on the right of the entrance.
