@superrubiksman Abs contract harder into a belt to increase intra-abdominal pressure for efficiency and safety. With lighter weights, safety isn't really an issue but increasing efficiency is desirable for a maximum reps contest.

@superrubiksman of course a belt, especially when doing a lower back exercise for high amount of reps
