I would'nt ever buy lego in the 1950s because that cheap song its a parody of this old man if anybody has this set tell me how good it is.

@thelegoman66
If this aired circa 1962, then if those kids were aged between 3-12 years then, then they'd be 50 years older now (between 53 and 62 years old).

I was a kid in 1962 when my folks gave me the Town Plan box. So I seriously doubt this commercial is from 1955!
@EP1KCAMPER That only sets with minifigures. Learn your lego history.

I have some Samsonite LEGO sets still. And I'm only 33!

@DrNicket Dude, same here. I have one of the Samsonite sets from 1954, and I'm only 11! But I got mine from my grandmother.

$1.95-$25.00?? Wow, you'll never see that today...

@MarkED912 No kidding.

@sh4kify Just wanted to let you know that this commercial likely dates to 1961-62. The first USA LEGO sales were at Christmas 1961, by the North American LEGO licensee Samsonite Corp. And Samsonite of Canada started LEGO sales in 1962.

@GerRoland Thank you! The title must've been mistakenly based on the episodes the commercial was taken from.
