How about just teaching history as it is, leave everything in context, I have always felt setting aside time to teach a "insert" group history serves no purpose but to continue hate and resentment. Not to mention your taking things out of context and tend to only focus on "their" struggle is like committing self amnesia. Instead of taking it in context of the time period.
