  • Great playing!! Humours of Tullycrine is a great tune - sometimes its called Casey's Hornpipe. I want to ask you about the F whistle. Are the finger spacings closer than the low D? My hands are too small for the low D - but I really like the sound of low whistles. F is kind of medium-ranged, so i'm thinking maybe it would be more manageable. Your advice? High five from California!

  • Magic!

  • Ecclesiastes 2:8

I gathered me also silver and gold, and the peculiar treasure of kings and of the provinces: I gat me men singers and women singers, and the delights of the sons of men, as musical instruments, and that of all sorts

  • Eres el putísimo amo !!! de donde eres, mákina?

  • wow, the B part in Man of the house is improvised but it sounds very very very good

  • Your videos made me make my low D whistle.

  • Beautiful :)

  • I've been following you guys for years and you're a massive inspiration, keep up the amazing work.

  • simply loved it, keep on!

  • Very nice...Tullycrine is very near where I come from in County Clare. Have you heard Tim Collins (Concertina) version on my channel ?

  • @clarebannerman Yeah, thanks, it's great.

  • Quina enveja...

  • Loved the guitar work.

  • Wow that was Awesome!

  • Very good video :)

I don´t need Sheet music, but do you have chords for that????

  • Love your rendition of The Humours of Tullycrine! Of all the versions I've heard (and i've been combing the web like mad for them) I really like yours best, even better than Cillian and Niall Vallely and also Cormac Breatnach's (though your feel is alot like Cormac on Nearly Blue). It just sounds like you're really singing the melody not just playing it- very musical not mechanical-nice and slow like you really love the tune. Very refreshing. Just love your "feel" in general on all of your tunes.

  • I was wondering, is there anywhere I could get or buy mp3s of you guys playing? I'd love to be able to listen to this wherever I am <3

  • Got to say the tone of the guitar sounds great in this one. Chalk and cheese with the old blue thing you started with. Is that thing in a museum now or what??

  • Definitly among the best that I've heard from you two. Love it!!

You guys are the reason why I started playing tin whistle 3 years ago.

  • Smokin'!

  • Hi guys, can you tell me what key your playing this in and what key is the low whistle.

    Ian (Scotland)

  • @ianmcdonagh E dorian but it sounds G dorian because the whistle is in F.

  • @TinWhistler Cheers fella, thought I was going mad trying to play it on a D whistle :-)

Did you move to Galway recently from Malta, if so, how are you enjoying the lovely Galway?

  • Holy shit, you guys got old

  • brilliant as always !

  • Were you at the Fleagh this year?

  • You are awesome! I like your music! what kind of tuning do you have on your guitar?

  • I have been watching these guys for a while. They are amazing musicians and it is fun watching them grow up.

  • At the beginning it feels like I should start singing wonderwall by oasis.

  • brilliant. just brilliant.

  • I had my last exam, today, and I needed to celebrate, so I'm playing this :).

I'm going to Ireland in the Summer, looking forward to the music there! Thanks for giving me a teaser of it :D

  • Is this DADGAD?

Desde que teniu la guitarra nova sona molt millor per això ;)

  • You Guys are such an inspiration. Thanks you!!

  • Good work. It sounds very nice. We follow you from Spain. We miss your percussion at the sofa.

  • Absolutely mental bro

  • Damn~ that was good!

  • Can I be you, please?

  • LIKE

  • As usual, you have outdone yourself. Your brother has gained some serious depth in his playing over the years.

Okay this will seem silly. It's regarding the Calender in the top right of the screen. What do you call it?. That color scheme/style/font is identical to calenders in my Native Kerala India.

Google "Traditional Kerala calendar" on images. We did have a Spanish/Portuguese Settlers long time ago. Could be why..

  • I like!

  • Love it!.....Celtic Rhythm and Melody...It doesn't get better than this!...:-)

  • Very nice and beautiful!

  • Geniales como siempre. La acústica de vuestra cocina va muy bien para low whisle aunque la guitarra tapa bastante el sonido del whistle.

Espero poder ver pronto el siguiente video. Saludos.

  • I'm really glad that you guys are keeping the traditions and spirit alive. You just don't get to hear this kind of music everywhere and that saddens me. However, I just watch one of your videos and it makes me feel worlds better. Thank you very much for these wonderful gifts and I hope you'll continue to make one every now and again.
