@TomGreenUK Millennium was open. There's a single shot of it near the helix. Odyssey was closed on the night I shot the video, but it was open on other nights up til about 9pm in August 2007. That was the only time I've managed to get on it in the dark though. If you ever get the chance, it's definitely worth doing, especially sitting at the back of the train. :D
@FantasyRIDESisland Rides should stay open until 10pm. However odyssey has recently been closing at 5pm and Amazing Confusion is currently unavailable.
i think it looks amazing i love all the rides especially with the light i have never been on any of the rised at night am always out inthe pubs lol will go on them at night tho going this saturday for a week exited
The price ranges from £5 to £16 for children, and £10 to £22 for adults. The price varies depending upon the time of the season, and cheaper wristbands can be purchased online from the official Fantasy Island website.
You can still get live tickets on a pay per ride basis, where rides are priced at £1, £2, or £3 depending on the type of ride.
P.S. There's lots more trip planning info on Island Quest (there's a link in the more info box to the right of the video)
@Livia123abc For some rides there's an age restriction of 12 years old and the height restrictions are between 1.2 and 1.4metres dot some of the thrill rides.
I've heard that the lift hill motor *should* have been fixed by now. However, I don't know for certain whether it has or not. Hopefully it should be, have a good trip! :D
Yeaa, it was closed. Anyway, i went on the beast.. 10/10! IT WAS AMAZING. <33 Amazing confusion was closed, Volcano was closed. Millenium opened half way throught the day because of high winds <3 But i sure got my use out of that wristband! I went in and out of the theme park 3 times! I went on the Millenium about 6 times, and so many flat rides. The new wristband system is just totally amazing!
Glad you had a good day. When odyssey, Insane and confusion are reopen, the wristbands will be epic value for money. Thanks for checking out Island Quest too btw. :)
Rides are priced accordingly around the park. Most require 4 regular tokens; with some smaller rides requiring 3 or less. Tokens are 60p each. The coasters require a Jubilee token which are £3 each.
The park are to install a wristband system from Easter, which will be priced at £6-£16 for children aged up to 12, and £12-£22 for adults aged 12 and over. The price will vary depending on the time of season, and will co-exist with a pay per ride option.
Cool, im going saturday, ill probably go to FI on sunday though, i go on islandquest alot.. anymore news on the latest position of Odyssey and Amazing confusion? I read the news to say they was shut. so i really want them open :/
Beast is reopen now for anyone that's interested. :D
Absolutely Insane remains closed, and will do for the remainder of this year. It's unknown whether it will be removed.
Odyssey and Amazing Confusion are only opening on weekends. Odyssey is also closed for at least this weekend whilst some construction work has been taking place in the exit queue line.
The season ends in October/November (even the FI site doesn't have the last day of the season listed). Odyssey and Amazing Confusion are likely to become available at weekends only throughout Sept/October until the October half term where full operation should resume. It's not long after this that the park closes for winter.
Ride close time at this time of year is around 10pm. Off peak ride close is usually 8pm at weekends and 5/6pm weekdays.
As far as I know everything is open but Beast and Absolutley Insane; which hasn't opened all season. Everything else should be open, the coasters have had one of their most productive years; they're even charging a bargain price of £3 rather than £4 for Jubilee tokens. And with it being summer, most of the rides should open later into the night for the next few weeks at least.
Beast could possibly open soon-ish. I think they'd like it to be open this weekend since it's the bank holiday anyway.

The latest I've heard is that the ride's been built back up, but they're still waiting for replacement slip rings; which are used to transfer electricity to the main arm. Hopefully it should be open again soon.
i went on volcanic eruption and millenium coaster i would of goneon beast but its being worked on and i am going to go on odyssey for the first time next time i go and i may even get myself on absolutley insane, i love trying faster and faster stuff.
Great! But it's looking ever more doubtful that Absolutely Insane will reopen. And Beast is going to remain down until they get a replacement part; I believe it's the inner bearing of the arm that's gone.
Try sitting at the front or back of Odyssey, it's smoother than the middle. :D
confusion tht cud b me n my bro we went on at tht time my shoes fell off my fone fell out my pocket n it smashed lol :P teaches me to put it in my pocket n wear sandles
LOL. Yeah, or tie your shoes and put your phone in a zipped pocket. I've known worse though, my mates camera whacked into the restraint on Beast because he didn't zip his jacket up. :D
i can remeber walking around fi at night.you know mcdonalds?in the car park we saw this really nice Aston Martin DB9 with sportspack.made a really good noise too.then about 30 mins later, ferrari f430 goes past.made my night
Yeah, Beast is a fab ride. But the lighting effects at night are super. At times when the lights flash on/off it's almost as if it fades into the night sky. I guess the lighting control panel provides so many options, with about as much control as is needed to operate the ride itself.
Amusement parks and fairs have an electric atmosphere at night. The lights certainly go a long way in creating that atmosphere as special as it is.

I've been told that parts for Odyssey are due back from Vekoma on Wednesday, meaning Odyssey won't be ready to reopen until next weekend. Sorry.

Currently, only Beast and Absolutely Insane are closed. As far as I know everything else should be operational.
Beast should hopefully reopen soon. Absolutely Insane hasn't opened all season so it's very unlikely it will now.
