  • I am looking for a beautiful modular home like this to put on our 6 acres! We want a $0 PG&E bill!!! I am hoping to move out of the city ASAP! HELP! I want one! Preferably 3 bedroom 2 bath!

  • How much are these things?

  • A great green alternative to traditional gutter downspouts are copper rain chains.

  • @cscottblev Rain Chains Direct (dot) com

  • very cool!

  • how practical...

  • "the photovoltaic cells will allow one to 'sell back on sunny days, buy back on grey days' "

OK lets think for a second here. buy back from who? from where? if the suns not shining you are relying on nuclear or coal energy. the energy system is redundant. it has to duplicate itself. you may have an entire "green" energy grid, but you still need to duplicate that same system to supply energy for the days the sun isnt shining or wind isnt blowing.

  • why the hell was that lady climbing a ladder in pumps?

  • eK4tie - that lady was me, and I was wearing heels because it was a dressy opening event, and I did not know that Michelle Kaufman was actually going to take me up onto the roof of her house. Had I known that I probably would not have worn heels.

  • not alot of privacy...

  • WOW REALLY NICE HOUSE XD!

how much will it be (or is) and will u have this in brazil?

  • great house!!!

  • ballz

  • easy make the house out of hemp.

  • Interesting concept. I like the idea. Would like to see what others do to make it "theirs". Where are the prices? More info? Should we hit your website?

  • estos "eco-consumistas" llevan estilos de vida carisimos con muuucha tecnologia y lujosos ambientes, cuantas cosas podira hacer todo lo que necesitan para vivir.

  • This is a great idea. Where can I get these containers?

  • this is the future...

  • The future is already here, just not widely distributed. Not to nitpick, but why do so many people use "so" to begin sentences lately? It seems like the newest meme among 30-ish people involved in technology? I'm wondering if that's a California thing, or Silicon Valley or casual business lingo?

  • I love the idea of this house, but it seems very targeted toward a West coast climate. In colder areas with less sunshine would this module be a valid solution? Wouldn't the "chimney" design work against retaining heat?
