  • Cool video. Travel on is right. If you want to see what the Czech country-side looks like, then take a look at this flight video I made (Prague to Carlsbad) complete with some music by Czech composer Smetana:

    If you say fuck Czech,

I'm pretty sure you don't mean to hurt other people's feelings right??? -:(

    All those cultures r Slavic

  • This place is what Hayao Miyazaki used in 'Kiki's Delivery Service'.

I cannot believe a place like this actually exists.

    I can die happy now.

  • @HomoCallidus wach you tongue

  • Rushpowerpratt, your a jerk! I'm czech and it hurts my feelings that you even said that. This is my heritage so shut up.

  • Fuck you czechs! world juniors Canada 5-0 over you fucking mongrel cunts!

  • Prague has a special place in my heart. Being Czech I visited this city many times with my Mum, we would shop around, walk to the Old Town and have a cup of coffee at least three times in a different cafe. This year I had a last trip to scatter her ashes there, she loved Prague. I don't I will be coming there for a long time, too many memories.

  • @96Janka Ahoj! We will go to Praha & Kraol Vary tomorrow with my family. I was in Praha & Brno six years ago & totally love Czech Republic.

-- With love from a Free Vietnamese in America.

  • Prague is my second home. My parents were born and rasied there and i envy them so much, i wish i could of grown up in such a beautifuly historic place. My grandparents still live there so i visit every summer, it's amazing.

  • velvyslanectvi ceske republyki :D

  • just got back from prague yesterday, enjoyed the experience! interesting place and some very nice buildings. Maybe return one day ^^

  • I was there in 1999. The city is beautiful but the surrounding areas were rundown and under developed. I wonder if it's still that way? Anyone thinking of moving there better think twice if it's still that way

  • @sociomike The city has changed a lot in last 10 years. It seems as if as far from communism time the better. Prague has regain its green places, its much cleaner and the air improved a lot. There are still some parts that are not as popular but its the same in NY, London etc. Try to visit now and i think you will be surprised :)

  • Respect to the Czechs from Romania.

  • Praha je nádherné mesto, starobylé a vôbec. Zato naša Bratislava nemá ani len metro :D

Buďte hrdí na to, že ju máte

Aj keď ja osobne by som v Prahe bývať nechcela, stačí mi môj štyridsaťsedemtisícový Zvolen, ak rozumiete, čo tým myslím :)

    Pozdravujem zo Slovenska

  • piekny cesky !!! ljubav tova

  • Thanks for the most beautiful video about my a city, wich is my home for more than 15 years and I wouldn´t change it for anything else. Thanks again, it is absolutely awesome video. I hope it will encourage many people to visit such a beautiful city because everyone is welcomed ;)

  • Prague- a city where magic is in the air. I was there as a child and I still remember :) Besides Czech Republic is my favourite country except my own. Greetings from Poland, dearest neighbors ;]

  • I'm sensing some historical inaccuracy at ooh, let's say, 0:54, give or take nine thousand years.

  • Prague is the best city in the world! Combination of 1000 years history and today's life with nightlife is just amazing!

  • Prague is the most beautiful European City, much more beautiful than Paris

  • Pls watch tons of vids on my Channel. Tks.

  • Beautiful city, but watch your pockets....

  • @Tennessee44444 In which hotel ? (would help other people for sure)

  • @Tennessee44444 OMG. Take a look around you in the US... The Czech rep has one of the lowest rate of poverty on the World. Cant say the same about the US. Your problem is you have been showing to us just that fancy exterior (national parks, downtowns etc.):P I visited also peripheries of the US and i was quite shocked. So, shut up you asshole.

  • @AsgardCV I'm amazed how your nation is beautiful, and it looks medieval from a wonderful architect in the Czech Republic. @Tennessee44444 he knows nothing about Czech Republic, and he is a cocky arrogant American. Trust me, I live in the U.S. and you have no idea how many people in the U.S. are always like this all the time. They get easily brainwashed, manipulated easily all the time by the media. Btw when is the best time to visit Czech Republic? because I really want to visit there so badly.

  • @TheCooldude1987 Everyone is coming in July and August so I would recommend you September when weather is still fine or May/June. Prague in summer is really packed with tourists:-)

  • @AsgardCV Thanks for the tip and it's my dream to visit Prague, Czeck Republic. Greetings from the U.S. from a Mexican-American. =)

  • @AsgardCV I lived in London and in Paris but I have never seen so many tourists as I saw in Prague!

  • @AsgardCV That depends on what you mean by the word 'poverty'!

  • @alanheath What do i mean? For example that ridiculous houses (500square feet for a family of 5). Actually I wouldnt even call it a house in the Czech rep and in any OECD member state (Its more like a shed). 20pct of the poorest citizens live in a horrible conditions (from my perspective) and without health insurance. Thats not a sign of developed country. The USA are good for a roadtrip and ice hockey but I really dun want to live there:)

  • good bless form georgia

  • beautiful churches

  • Czech Republic is the BEST!!!

  • ahoj jak se máš.

  • budovy jsou tak krasne

  • I'm a Czech American my real dad was from here. Definitely on my must see sometime when I'm older.

  • We´re very beautiful land but with dirty destiny. I can´t forgive france and britain they sold us to hitler and broke us...anyway they didn´t help themselves. And then Soviet union they turned our beautifull cities into socialistic shit. Right into cities with hundreds years old architecture placed disgusting cubes. Destroyed many of churches because they hated religion. Fuck it !

  • @Luboshtekk omg do you guys really live there? your country is the most beautiful country that I've ever seen!!!! I've always thought Europe was beautiful such as italy, ireland, etc but omg nothing like Czech Republic it's like I'm looking at fairy tale or animation

  • @Luboshtekk přesně tak, jak říkáš

  • @Luboshtekk I agree with your historical analysis but if you allow the past to rule your life then you are going to have a miserable future.

  • @Luboshtekk Fuck the chruches. Prague does not need religouse shit to look beautifull.

  • @VictumRoManius there´s no point in religious shit but in architecture shit

  • They Give Actors As Broadway which its not real its not @#$@#$ but elect

Water, Natural Ligth I mean Life

  • @sillychad18= I'm American, and I say, Italy is superior to America in some things. The history, the culture, the architecture, and the women. Here, we don't belive in ruins. When a building gets old, they destroy it, and it's history too. Italy preserves their old buildings. And they learn from it. Makes me feel guilty that my Visigoth ancestors wrecked and burned so many beautiful buildings. Prague is beautiful too.

  • @vigo894 Any American would know that America is known for NOT destroying their buildings instead letting nature take its toll...so I wouldn't agree with you on that one..

  • @Boss7ification to jsem nemyslel vážně ...

  • @Boss7ification ty si hlupák xD

  • Good Morning

  • Greetings from Croatian

  • I've known about Prague for a long time now.

  • I visited the Czech Rep. for a month in 2004. 3 weeks were spent in Prague and a week on a farm in the North east near Helfštýn Castle. My experience differed in each location. I found the people from Prague to be a little reserved, but polite. The Family I stayed with on the farm were amazing. There little community was completely self-sufficient. They completely changed my view of Europeans and people in General. It was a life experience for me.If anyone has a chance, visit this great country.

  • Czech Republic is a very racist country. They hate foreigners and treat them like pigs. It's the only country of its kind in the 20th century. Just stay here for 3 months or more, you'll know better.

  • @stubornQ you are stupid idot who knows nothing

  • @stubornQ

That's definitely NOT true at all! It's sad that you had some bad experience with some "not-very-clever" people around here but you could find people like this anywhere else...so please don't talk about us like that. Really, this is not worse in the CR than in most of the other european countries.

  • @stubornQ I agree.

  • petomay purdell HA HA

  • youtube.com/user/MsDansD

    live video in Prague))

  • yeahaa... i've been to other countries in Europe and been to Chicago even =) but never been to Czech i want to so much... then to Poland and Belarus. =)

  • ЗЛАТА ПРАГА...

  • I am, czech, french, irish, italian, german and stuff :P

  • Why all travel guides always present Prague? The CR has many other atractive destination and they are often more valuable in many ways than Prague.

  • @jakubzhk cos prague is easier to reach, and since its the biggest city it has tonnes of amazing things to show.

  • You didn't go to the Golem?

  • @SWEandreas czechs are not a poor nation at all i was born there and i study history i know we are a very rich country but poor in economy.

  • @IceBlaziken64 but richness depends on economy, no?

  • @IceBlaziken64 Czech has a very strong economy they're one of the few that still have their own currency and isn't being brought down by the Euro...

  • Turkey vs Czech Republic

  • @FungusMorris Thats actually very true, Czech crowni s much stable than Euro. Slovakia has problems with that because they took Euro too early.

  • @SWEandreas02 The most valued stuff in Stockholm museums were stolen from Prague by the "famous" Swedish army during the 30-year war. The Czechs cant say anything now.. its just a war prize for Sweden....

The same is for the Germans. They collaborated with Hitler and then lost. No sane person would trust them any longer.

And the most fun part is that the industry thing was thanks to the Habsurk reign.. not some random Germans living in villages.

  • Come on! You know that Czechs are 50% German and 50% Slavic, and that especially in the cities the German and Czech people intermarried and mixed. I guess 10% of Austrians have a Czech surname and 10% of Czechs have a German surname. All this anti-German hate sucks, just like the way the Germans were expelled and expropriated after the war. Why do people concentrate on the decade of hate and nationalism and ignore the centuries of peaceful coexistance and cooperation?

  • @AustrianAtheist I personally hate neither Germans nor Austrians..I just heard that at the beginning of the 20th century there was some kind of rivalry between the Czech part and German part of every city :D ..but no wonder we expelled Germans like that..after all they´ve done to us..but that´s long forgotten and nowadays world is completely different..peace

  • I also never understood why the western powers, who constantly talked about nationalist selfdetermination, then gave Sudetenland to Czechoslovakia and not to GermanAustria after monarchy broke up. 3,5 million or 25% were Germans and there was repression ofc. The moderate German social democrats could not achieve any compromises, that also contributed to the rise of radical German nationalism and we all know the consequences.

  • @SWEandreas02 Im glad your account do not exist anymore, fucking liar...

  • nice soundtrack ^__^

  • BEAUTIFUL! That background music is super annoying though...

  • ..I don´t like if many People talkink about Communism in Czech Republic, just because this time is far away and forever away and I like Czech Republic like is now. Im born in Prague in 1980 and I was there till 2007 and Iam very glad for that. People there I see very friendly and warm, they are very communicative and many from them can speak English. If somebody from you have any questions about Prague, you can ask me, it can be nice:) Now Iam married in Berlin and I missing my born area:))

  • I've heard that czech people are evil

  • @DIANAROSS4EVER ..how can you say that they are evil? Iam from there and I know that there are very friendly people. They talk with others more with heart and they accept others more as Germans in Berlin:) Iam Born in Prague and Iam glad for that, I was there from 1980 till 2007 and I love to come back:)

  • @paulfromberlin I suppose that I heard this from a person who had a bad experience

  • @DIANAROSS4EVER ..It can be possible anywehere, just because the People are good and bad everywhere you go. To say that in some Coutry are others as evil is too strong. :) I was in Barcelona and there in the small streets in the evening many young People sale the drugs. But I believe that there are also good people, not just a Junkies. It can be that someone can not be sceptic, just openimnded and not to say that all from Czech are evil:)) Till today I like Spain so much:)

  • @DIANAROSS4EVER Yes we are evil.lol

  • @DIANAROSS4EVER Yes i am

  • Hi everyone, I see there are Czech guys from Prague here so I'm gonna seize the opportunity to ask you one little thing guys, here's my problem : I'm planning to go to Prague next month but I really dunno in which neighborhood I should search for the hotel, I mean where do you think would be the best location for some guy who's gonna visit a lot but plans to party a lot too? Thanks.

  • Prague is wonderful ,I don agree is unknown

  • I love my home city. screw the haters.

  • I am czech , I live in Prague and I like tourists very much. I´ve talked to many foreign visitors. Some of them said Prague is magical and people nice. And some of them said that they met some grumpy people...

I think everybody is different....maybe the language barried makes a lot....

I am sure majority of my friends like foreigners too or don´t have any problem with them=)

Please don´t take the fuckin ...albert22022000´s ...coments seriously....!

    It´s not so objective

  • albert22022000 ..........what the stupid hater! =DDDDDDD

  • Prague itself is beautefull, the Country side is lovely too, it is when it comes to daily life, as a tourist or as an expat (like me), people discover the truth. There isnt many stories amongst expats that is not heard before reg. stealing, rudeness and anything else in the book. It looks pretty in pictures, and apart from that, it is becoming as expensive as many other nice places. Friendly czech in bars, yes because they are drunk and you send food and drinks their way. Thats life in Prague.

  • I'm sorry, but it's not just the foreign tourists the Czechs dont like. They dont like foreigners unless they can beg steal or borrow money from them. And they use every excuse in the book to get away with it. And it is everything from leasing an appartment to robbery on the streets. The law doesnt work, at least not very well for foreigners, and the police dont give a damn about anything.

And it is no excuse that the communists have ruled the Country for 40 years, that is about 20 years ago!

  • I have an advice for you: If you want to meet friendly people you paradoxly shouldn't go to the restaurants and pubs with big signs in english on the main streets. These are the pubs for tourists, overprized, with shitty food and rude waiters. Don't be afraid and try to visit a club, bar or anything in one of the marginal streets. You'll see Czech people after few beers are very friendly...

  • I'm from Prague and I understand that some of you find the people here rude and unfriendly... I'm sorry, but there are many reasons for this fact. Many tourists come to Prague just for the cheap beer and cheap Ukrainian prostitutes... There is many drunk tourists from west thinking they can do anything in this "Eastern" country. And I'm not too surprised that a czech bartender with like 4 euros/hour isn't much happy that every Russian or Armenian mobster is feeling there more home than himself.

  • Czech People are in general not too happy about people from other countries, they are one of the most racist people in the world, believe you me, I live here. And they blame 40 years of communism everytime people are being robbed - that be tourists, expats and others. It is the home country of the brave soildier Sveik, but the reality is much worse than the story about Sveik. No wonder tourists stay away from the Cz. republic.

  • you have a beautifull capital. I like especially the old town:)

  • From Brazil, Rio de Janeiro.

    Very Cool... But very cold...

A República Tcheca é um lugar bonito...

  • @6digit It's actually one of the most neocon (read: laissez faire capitalistic) places in the world currently

  • jaj Tak to je dobrý no :D.

  • had a chance to visit this magical city this year, I was blown away by its beauty, cleanliness and how safe it is. Must go back. Thanks for sharing this video

  • I love Prague, I was there two weeks ago. And seriously, what a nice city. And we saw some poor people, but there were also allot of rich people. I saw allot of BMW's X6 and Bently.

  • And by now, most of Prague is being bought up by Russians and Italians, just see whats going on in Vinohrady.

But the Communists and the Nazist are no excuse for the rudeness and lack of service you experience in Prague.

  • @albert22022000 Well, people working in restaurants and services in Prague are known for their cold behavior and for being douchebags, believe me that people in the rest of the country and most of Prague locals are more friendly. But yes, people in Prague are not very exited about tourists, especially not about the drunken ones...

  • @svoba4af

how bad is it, im indian and going looking to go prague next month, are the some parts i should steer clear of? can you recomend some nice parts of prague?

  • @smistry94 Prague has low crime level, the only problem may be pickpockets and bitchy taxi drivers (always ask for a bill). Not surprisingly I can recommend you the city centre and Charles bridge. However, Little Quarter square (Malostranské náměstí), Čertovka (right next to Charles Bridge) and Vyšehrad Cemetary are my favorites. You should visit Prague Castle as well, exteriors are for free and the atmosphere is lovely there. Have a good luck in a crowd of Germans and Britons :)

  • @svoba4af

thank you so much! what part of prague is the city centre located in? is there a particular name for it?, it seems prague has been spilt in parts and numbered,

  • I'll bet rich white men come here to mate with the Blond's.

  • most beautiful city of central europe

  • Since Prague is like the 6th city most visited by turists, they get millions of them all days whole year, the locals will not treat you nicely, like so many have said, the service industry will make you feel unwelcome, they are tired of tursits in Prague, and the pirces are way too high..dont go there..by experience i can tell you that most of the eastern countries dont like turists, slavic ppl are kinda rude..better go to the north, south and west countries of europe only..

  • I'm sure people have already said this, but unless he means 10,091 b.c., which I don't think can be right, I think he meant 1091.

  • communists have possessed us,nacists have possessed us,we are freedom land with interesting history and with beautiful capital city Prague,I am not Slav,I am CZECH and I DONT LIKE RUSSIAN.And i like PEACE!!!!

  • i just got back it is very nice place!

  • prague is the 5th richest region of the entire European Union after Inner London, Luxembourg, Brussel, and Hamburg

  • i'm coming there in July... yayYyy

  • @judyroodi what did you just sayd?

Are you talking about my country?Well i can say that in america and UK there are realy big idiots that allways are arogantso dont talk about us if you know a big shit!ok?

  • @judyroodi That´s true. But not everyone..

  • pour Loîs.

  • Cracow Prague Budapest Kosice and maybe Venice are the most beautiful cities in Europe and probably the best in the world !!

  • na tom videu vypada vsechno jinak nez to je...asi tak...nase ekonomika je pekne v pici a de to cim dal do vecich sracek...

  • There are beautiful buildings in the Prague. I would like to travel away then once there, and to take a photos... Greeting from Hungary"

  • HOME!

  • Why Prague is called Golden? What's the reason for this?

  • @Model87Y I quess that is because Praha has always been rich city, maybe because of the baroque architecture that seems pretty... richly :)

  • @svoba4af I read in Internet that Praha has many blond women and this is the reason for its nick name "golden",but may be you are right, too

  • @Model87Y Wow, never of a huge number of blonds in Prague. Major part of czech women are small brunettes. Please don´t expect that Czechia is overcrowded by top models like Petra Němcová :)

  • @Model87Y....first read something about Prague´s history mainly about the reign of CHarles IV and then ask......

  • czech people are lucky the soviets and the allies didnt destroy Prague in the war like they did Budapest

  • Yeah those people are annoying.

I'm going there as a tourist but I'm going to see the history and the architecture not just to get hammered. I don't see the point in that, why bother going to a beautiful if all ppl are going to do is be half-conscious and get whichever country they are from a bad rep.

  • good vid, host need to learn how to annunciate his words and not sound like he's in a hurry

  • ouh...what happend to you in there?

  • next monday im coming!!!!!

  • looks like theres not much to do

  • you are wrong, i live there..

  • What a beautiful city!

  • the only less positive thing that i can say about prague is - too many tourists. okay, tourism is good and it brings money, but this is too much in prague. i was so lucky i finally found a bar with domestic people. and a czech guy told me that he is happy when he has the luck to walk through empty streets in his town. just silence. i would like the know how prague citizens didnt go crazy with all these thousands of people every
