  • That little plane looks like it accelerated quickly. guess little pllane and big motors makes for a good time.

  • Do 705 pilots fly the -200 variants as well?

  • @MrCars Affirmative.

  • I do the supertug in at ATL, Im working on my ratings, I love being able to see the takeoffs and landings. Watch out for mr.happy the atc controller, he gets kind of anal sometimes lol great video

  • omg I love this!

  • Awesome quality

  • Would this be the SUMMT4 or DAWGS4 departure out of Atlanta?

  • @planekid16 SUMMT4

  • @tikimangoluv Whats that mean? lol

  • I am flying to Dallas from Toronto next Sunday night, and I am a bundle of nerves. I know all the stats, but am a bad flyer. I was told to meet the pilots before, I hope AC Jazz allows that. Any other videos of help would be appreciated. I have the utmost respect for pilots and flight attendants, but I struggle with flying.

  • @willis2920 Jazz does allow you to speak with the pilots. Just ask the flight attendant upon boarding, and as long as the pilots are not busy, you can peak your head in and speak with them. Hopefully this will help alleviate many of your concerns. I may do a video in the near future to address the fear of flying as you are not alone. I have dealt with many fearful fliers in my past career as a flight attendant. If you have any questions in the meantime, I'll do my best to help. :)

  • @tikimangoluv Thanks a lot, I hope to speak with the pilots. I just got a new job that requires travel several times a year, and I am fighting anxiety. Weather, turbulence, takeoff, all the "normal" things people are afraid of when flying. I get upset weeks before the flight, and can't seem to shake it. Thanks for helping. I assume the CRJ 705 is safe, but I have heard it can be bumpier. It doesn't really matter, I guess, but you just hope for uneventful flight. I know I have to overcome this.

  • @willis2920 I asked my husband if he will be operating the flight you will be on, but unfortunately he's not as he would have gladly talked with you. I'm sure the pilots flying will be of some help to you. The CRJ 705 is larger than the 100 and 200s and is my husband's favourite to fly. It is bumpier, but that's because the aircraft are lighter and are more affected by bumps, much like a sports car compared to a limo. The 705 is a very safe well-built aircraft.

  • @tikimangoluv I really appreciate you spending time and answering questions. I will be flying back on Friday, and then again in two weeks, so hopefully your husband will be a pilot on one of the flights. He has to be good to be married to such a great person as you ;). I will update when I get back home, thanks again.

  • @willis2920 You're most welcome and thank you for the nice comment! I look forward to your update and hope that all goes well for you :)

  • @tikimangoluv Well I made it back. It was a little scary flying around storms and winds, but overall I did okay. I can't begin to tell you how great the crew was. The Co-pilot (ferris) especially was great, they explained a lot and were really cool. The flight attendants both talked to me, and one even sat beside me as we were landing and talked! They were great and I am sending an email to Jazz. I have to fly again tomorrow to Calgary with Westjet, and I hope it goes well. Thanks again.

  • @willis2920 As far as turbulence is concerned, think of it as bumps in the road, or waves in the ocean. The aircraft are designed and certified to handle extreme amounts of turbulence. Other than possible discomfort for some passengers, there's no danger. Distractions such as movies also help to take your focus off of turbulence. There's onboard colour weather radar to assist pilots in navigating around weather. Air Traffic Control is also very helpful in that regard.

  • your so lucky!!! i have type 1 diabetes and i cant do anything commerical :(

  • @Privatepilot09 So sorry to hear that.

  • Who do you fly for?

  • @Privatepilot09 Air Canada Jazz.

  • Couldn't catch the callsign... could you runway that by me?

  • @planekid16 haha, Jazz.

  • @tikimangoluv thanks!

  • Awesome... please keep them coming!

  • Great, once described as rising from the cab. Are you a pilot?

  • @1HarryH No, that's my husband flying - he's the pilot. Thanks for commenting :)
