a great movie. kamalahasan's sadma was greatly inspired by this movie. though the director balu mahindra did not acknowledge this in the titles - that is natural and quite common in Bollywood and other Indian movies. RK - Kamal's role - does a great job and Sadhna - sridevi - acts well too. The songs are too good in this movie. The music by KA duo is superb. Thanks Pradeepprabhu

I have to agree completely. I am from Iran but I've grown up listening to Indian music all my life, and it is by far the most sublime music. Although I can pick up a few words common to Hindi (or Urdu) and Farsi, and over the years of watching films with subtitles I have learned a small vocabulary of words, I wish I could fully understand what these beautiful songs are really about.
