Bangladesh had one of the most corrupt bureaucratic governments in the world when it was under political rule. The government and the country was at the brink of collapse because of the unbridled greed of the elected and appointed government officials. It's no wonder so many thousands have been arrested. The crimes and corruption were committed by thousands, if not a few million, connected to the previous political administrations. The current caretaker government saved Bangladesh.
