This implies that YouTube didn't do it because the shirts were cheaper, so what's the reason? Perhaps YT gave out baby tees (which are designed to be tight) to advertise with sex appeal. Perhaps next time YouTube should consider giving away some normal tees in addition to baby tees.

Famous people on youtube didn't always make it popular, its almost always the other way round.
Not to say that some famous people on here arn't independant from the site, but the vast majority of views on youtube won't be because anyone famous was on the site.

Weeell, I think it is cool that Oprah (and other famous people) have YouTube accounts, so their fans can connect with them. HOWEVER, blocking comments (WTF!) defeats the purpose of it AND I really do agree that people who empty their pockets, put out their hearts and souls, and devote lots of their time to YouTube should be made partner NOT RICH PEOPLE WITH THREE VIDEOS!

Oprah makes a very fine living pretending to do tell the truth about her own life, and then getting everyone else to. The hypocrisy really bothered me, until I realized that why is her show so wildly popular:
"It's a GAME SHOW; you might even win a car." And she'll take all the credit even though the cars were donated. Same for the Habitat Humanity Houses, the school in South Africa which the government pulled out of, and look what's happening there.
Something about Oprah is just not right.

fuck yes, I should have done a video that week. I was enraged. I felt like it was the beginning of the end. Youtube was supposed to be about us. Now it's just a circus of people who want to be famous, waiting for someone else who is already famous to make us famous too. YAY!
