What chapter do you first have the option to start the Cloud sidequest? I just started chapter 3 and I'm not sure if I missed it.

@shikamaru3333 You need Mustadio in your party, be in chapter 4 of the game, go to Goug Machine City to witness some scenes, buy a flower from the flower girl... in chapter 4... To much to list here, Lookup the info in a guide on gamefaqs . com check out the 1998 playstation version for many guides.

What I don't get is the sword for Cloud, like other swords has higher attack power than that, but why or how is that good for Cloud o_o

The statistics between games differ greatly, so if strong is a level 99 ninja in FFT, then you could argue that Level 99 in FF7 with Cloud having Ultima Weapon, that is also strong. Based on this logic, the Materia Blade actually is fair, better around mid-game then late game but not horrible.

Cloud needs the Materia Blade in FFT to perform his Limit Breaks.

So, we can assume from Cloud's sadness at seeing an Aeris looking lady that this happened atlest after Sephy shanks her. But considering how his mind hurts from being summoned, we must of summoned him during the battle with Sephiroth.

Get to it Square. A continuty were Cloud suddenly disapeared and Sephiroth brought down Meteor and destroyed the world. I wanna see what happens!

The funny part is that the bandit said the name 'Aeris' out loud and technically it could be another dimensional version of Aeris... though it's odd she is a flower girl in both games (dimensions).

I just wanna see a remake for the next gen systems of FFVII.

I planned out my Mimic carefully and edited out the excess waiting / figuring out parts.

Reis is a Dragoner, her job class is of dragon kin, or something. She has naturally high HP and unlike mimes, can equip some things.

That laugh at 1:11 remind me of a character at the Millennial fair tent in Chrono Trigger. Maybe other characters in the game too, XP

I wish the programmers thought this part through, if Cloud is the one to pick a fight and rescue the girl, why is he such a chicken running away like that... He should have had something he could have done such as Throwing stones or had some sort of way to run and attack long range..
