Also, he is only a favourite among the indo-canadians and not the caucasians in Canada. Maybe a few but very rare. Also, viewing and loving is different. Bollywood movies are televised in Canada sometimes. Some of us might watch it for fun but not necessary like it. In fact, some of us dont even know a single bollywood actor. The reason why the movie was successful was probably because of the Canadian comedian Russell Peters (He is really famous even in my country). Nobody gives a fuck about the producers in the movies. Same for Rocky. Rocky 4 was directed by Stallone. But did we give a fuck? No. The only logical reason why Kumar appeared in that movie was to draw in fans from India (but too bad the movie was declared a flop in Box office India).

@ultragarrison he financed the movie and his movies like singh is king etc have done very well in canada, hence why he produced a canadian film due to his fan following, he is well known in canada and was given the winter olympics torch to represent india, check his videos with the canadian prime minister aswell. the movie flopped in india as it was an english spoken film than hindi spoken. you know producers are the boss as they finance the films. also check that cameo with ludacris
