How old was your son when he "eased" into the mei tai? My son is 16th mos. old and is very active and wriggly. I can't imagine him cooperating with this setting up of the wrap. Any tips?
well, i started putting him on my back when he was 2 mos old. at 4 mos old he was being put on my back litterally every day and usually more than once, so he pretty much knew the drill by this point. most 16 mos olds would rather be down and walking, whether they are used to being worn or not. my son is now 2 and i still carry him like this, i just pin his legs against me with my arms when i reach back to hold him steady when he protests, which he does.
ok, thanks. i guess whether it's this or the ergo, i'm just going to have to try. i have put my son (as a younger infant) in a Jeep/strapped carrier about a dozen times and he was ok with it but not thrilled.
I was curious as to where you got your MT carrier? who made it? I love the strap fabric alot what type of fabric is the straps on this MT. Your shoulder straps look wide or fanned are they? thanks
hey heyyyyy I really wasn't expecting to find you on YT...I did search Mei tai though so I should have known :D :D Hey did you make your MT? If not where did you get that one from???
YAY!!! some lady at target tried explaining this to me and i just didn't get it. i'm gonna try this tommorrow!
also i love your little squeaky voice! i used to have a squeaky voice too when i was younger. but then my i overheard my grandpa saying to someone how i was so annoying. :( i forced myself to talk with a deeper voice after that. and now i've totally lost that squeaky voice completely! so sad.
