@SarickNig The gel is just a hydration source, and is preferred over pillows for the facts that they're more likely to drink from it, and pillows are a great source for bacteria breeding.

hey man i got that same cage for my crickets an i had to tape that sht up cuz they can get out of it easy!

@The1paintballer Yea the baby crickets can escape through the gaps where the handles are anchored, so I had to put a couple of small pieces of tape under it myself.

@The1paintballer you just put packaging tape all around the middle of the cage and they climb but they cant climb all the way up because they will slip off the packaging tape

i used the same method for gutloading roaches and crickets for my T's and it works a treat :D

its really important that you do this too

bugs are pretty much hollow french fries if they haven't been gutloaded and hydrated lol :P
