I'd buy it for that price in VG-10, S30V, or 154CM, but not AUS8.

Way too expensive for AUS 8. Thus is why sog is low on my list. They charge way too much for not such great steel.

@severzero Well, you have to keep in mind that the price being advertised here is retail price, street price on these will probably be around $100 to $120. Seems reasonable to me.

@severzero your probably talking about the MSRP. in that case hell yes almost any knife is overpriced but there are some places where you can get a 120 dollar SOG, aus8 for 50-55 bucks! i think thats a nice price for a knife that you wouldnt be out in the woods hacking limbs off trees with

@bobwasftw Negative. Most of the shops i buy from that have GREAT prices sell this for $96-$100. I know my knives too well to confuse base price with msrp haha.

@severzero lol i dont doubt you bro! but im just taking the SOG aegis as a reference. That was probable a very uneducated comment on my part :P but i do consider the trident and aegis pretty high quality knives for 65 dollars so ehh.. its all the relevant i guess, some knives like the badcat will be waaaaayy over that price at the same site! and the msrp on some of the knives at SOG make me angry.. $280 for something like the tigershark?? cool knife, yes.. massive price tag, hell yes. (venting)

@severzero Have you used a SOG knife in AUS 8? They do a really good job with heat treating, and only suckers pay list price.

@Sporkman165 Do you people fucking ever look at knives? Go look up how much it is at any store before you comment and yes i own a feild pup and a seal pup. Good knives but aus8 only goes so far my friend.
