i hate 80's :) Jefferson Airplane were brilliant in 60's, late 70's. it would be beautiful if they had stopped writing music and touring in late 70's )) and this video... is this just parody on THE ROLLING STONES ROCK'N'ROLL CIRCUS?
Paul would say " F you, we do what we want ". To expect these musicians to sound and look like 1968 21 years later in 1989 is absurd. I like the song, the video is sarcastic and crazy and a bit stupid, but it makes me realize how much I still love Grace and Marty. 1967-1970 they were truly phenomenal - no one ever commanded a stage like Grace when she was lit. Give them a break - they deserve it.
The use of those synthesizer instruments is disastrous!
That is ok for "Starship" (note I said just "Starship" and not "Jefferson Starship"), but has nothing to do with the classic line-up sound of "The Jefferson Airplane". Sad!
