And I think that if we learned to just accept all other music, we would have to lose that pride in a way. Fact. Not a single thrash band has ever come up with better than these bands. Not even Slayer. They're in the BIG 4 for a reason! IMO, I'm not a huge Slayer fan though....

@BadassAnons My opinion was that I'm not a huge Slayer fan. I love Slayer, just not as much as the other 3 mentioned. Nor do I really enjoy too much Kreator, Annihilator, Sodom, Exodus, or even much of Testament (although I enjoy Testament almost as much as Slayer). Megadeth is my all time favorite band. I've been listening to them the longest, since I was about 6. I believe it was the same year Peace Sells came out that I started. Next was Metallica over the radio. Then Anthrax. Love those 3.

@BluntAnim Yeah, Metallica has definitely strayed the furthest away from Thrash Metal of all the thrash bands. Slayer has stayed true the entire time. Anthrax has a few songs that make you wonder what direction they're trying to take. Megadeth made a huge "Risk" one year, if you get what I mean. And every other thrash band is pretty much pure, unrestrained thrash all the way through. Which makes sense as to why they're not as successful as the Big 4. Slayer is the one exception to this rule.
